These strips have been a game-changer for me. My severely herniated, prolapsed stoma has been very difficult to deal with. Even the SenSura Mio ‘starfish’-shaped pouch I use usually starts failing after only 1-2 days due to peeling up around the edge or melting from around the base of the stoma outward. After meticulously cleaning and drying my skin, I apply a new pouch by itself for the first day. As it begins to get voids around the edge, I use a toothpick to apply Skinister medical adhesive to re-adhere the voids, and then by the 2nd or 3rd day, I apply the Brava Barrier Strips, and they buy me another 2-5 days! What a game-changer! They are more elastic, have thinner edges than the wafer on the pouch, and adhere more securely. The cost does seem a little excessive, though.Don PutnamAustin, Texas
