Reduce drag when swimming
I recently started swimming at a local club and wore my 'surfer' shorts the first couple of times. I didn't want to commit to buying new shorts until I knew I'd be swimming regularly. I am now so I bought these and they've worked well so far. I normally wear a 34 waist and got the 34. My thighs are a little larger than normal...a little more muscular. They fit well...a little snug but I like that snug fit. They do accentuate my 'muffin top' a little but I can live with that :-) and they really help reduce the drag I got from my surfer shorts. I noticed a difference on my first swim with them. My wife thinks they look fine and aren't transparent at all. Other reviewers have mentioned that they don't last. I've only worn them twice so far and have rinsed them thoroughly each time so I hope they last but I can't swear to longevity. If I get a couple of years out of them, I'll call it a 'win' and reorder.

Great short and a good value.
I am an Onvous fan. They make quality products, and are responsive to feedback. I own these Raven front-lined jammers, the fully-lined compression AquaGenesis-V2 jammers, and the shorter, square leg front-lined AquaGenesis-Lite shorts. My waist is 34" (well, 34+ currently) and the size 32 is spot on. All of the Onvous shorts are constructed well, and these are no exception. I prefer the look of this black to the blue/gray fabric, but still rotate through the Onvous suits I have. Like all the current Onvous shorts, the leg openings could use a little different treatment. Folding the fabric creates a little more grip then some might find comfortable, but they don't ride up either. Also, just a little more space in the gluteal area would be nice. Neither of these minor issues drops a star for me though.Recommended for those looking for quality swim jammers at a nice price!

Great Comfortable Swim Trunks
I absolutely love the fit. I'm not a swimmer, I'm a senior with some physical limitations. The solution is to go to a pool with an exercise area. Previously I wore baggy boxer type swim trunks. While doing my physical therapy in the pool the trunks made of cotton or non-stretch nylon would cling tightly to my legs making certain leg movements awkward because the material wouldn't give and I had to stop frequently to pull the legs up so they wouldn't bind. The pockets would turn inside out and in all it was distracting and uncomfortable. Not with my new suit, it fits so well and stretches with my movements and I'm not exhausted after exercising for an hour and a half. Great Product!!!

Wore out very quickly
These fit well, but they were a bit thin to start with. Not good for someone that is modest like me (which is why I wear jammers rather than briefs. But also, these got thinner and lost their elasticity in just about 1 month of swimming twice a week. I always washed them out with soap and water after each swim. So really not worth the money.

Color bleeding out.
This is not second pair I’ve order. First one was the blue color, no problems with this one I’ve been wearing them in the poolEverday for the last few months. My second pair I got in black. I noticed the first day that when I rinsed them out after goingin the pool that a lot of the color was bleeding out. So I added some vinegar to the water I’ve heard that it will set the colorby doing this. I’ve been wearing them now for a about two weeks. It’s still to early to tell if the color will hold. I would probablystay with the other color.

Really wish I could have kept these.
I love the way these feel however the legs are very small. My thighs would not fit. I got a size 30, which is what my waist it, but the leg holes at the bottom were so small I could not get them all the way up to check the waist. Too bad I loved the material and the way it felt on my skin.

Ripped in 5 minutes up to my junk
I would post a pic but it’s borderline revealing. I wore them and scratched my leg in the first few minutes in the pool and the seem ripped from mid thigh up to my junk. They fit well and not super tight either.

Wear out very quickly. Not recommended for training
At first, these jammer bottoms were great and very comfortable but they began to wear out after about a month of pool use. I purchased 3 of these and rotated them on my 3 weekly swims. So each pair was only used roughly once a week and they didn't even last 4 months. At this point they are very stretched out, are basically see-thru, and unusable.
