Excellent addition to dinner
This is an easy to do, wonderful way to change up dinner time. The saffron in here is so yummy that you want to have it with every meal! The package has clear directions but you may need to change the time. My gas stove only takes 16 minutes to cook this and instead of waiting for a pot of water to boil I use my Kurig to get hot water so it takes less time overall. Caution first time making watch how high your flame is and keep an eye on the top of the rice. You'll notice the seasoning settles on top when cooking (which is why you stir after it's done) you'll notice the edges get dry and that might be a sign, but if you have the heat too high your rice will burn. It may take you a time or two to get it perfect but once you have it it's wonderful! You can replace potatoes with rice and instead of plain white rice which is boring. Goes great with Chicken made darn near any way or Pork loin or on its own. We've tried all the flavors and this original and the black beans and rice ones are the favorite in this house!

Timeless classic, easy to make and delicious.
Delicious, timeless saffron rice recipe. The recipe hasn't changed since its inception. Perfect when cooked with chicken broth and loaded with shredded chicken.

My all-time favorite rice
I hope they never discontinue this rice. Great value for the money and just the right amount of seasoning. Stores for a long time, too. Very easy to prepare.

Love This Rice
My favorite flavored rice! Sometimes the stores seem to run out of them, so I started ordering a box at a time here. They are shelf-stable enough that I don't need to worry about them going bad (anyway, they don't stay in the pantry very long in this house!). Cheaper to buy them this way, too.

The description said you get 12 10 oz packets of yellow rice. There is only 10. I previously could buy this rice locally so was happy to find some on Amazon. It is a nice side dish I can throw in the rice cooker.

Was very upset when order arrived with only one bag of rice when order said it was 12 bags if 10oz rice. Already put in a complaint. DO NOT order these
