COSCO 2 Step Lite Solutions Folding Step Stool, Aluminum/Black

I have given this as gifts because it is so light and useful. It weighs nothing yet is sturdy and stable with a nice hand bar to hang on to. When the step stool isn’t tall enough and the 6 ft ladder too much, this is perfect and handles most jobs in the home. Highly recommend, if you can find it. It isn’t widely available on Amazon anymore and the price can really vary. If you see it, grab it! You will love its slim light design and use it often.

I have 3 of these, for my kitchen, basement, and workshop. That's how much I like them. When I find a great product I vote with my $$.These are very lightweight, in a GOOD way. They are very sturdy, have a good wide stance, and a large top platform to stand on without losing your balance. The handrail is also positioned ideally to give you something to grab quickly if you need to. As a 6 footer, standing on this puts my head a few inches below ceiling height, which gets me up where I need to be 90% of the time. My step ladder is much lonelier these days.I don't like throwing things in landfills, and every high quality aluminum and plastic part of this can be easily recycled if it ever were to break some day. Which I doubt it will, but still...I've seen other products with tool caddies in place of the handrail, and cheaper construction, obvious from their photos. IMHO the tool caddy is not as important as being able to carry the step stool by the handle and the safety of having a handrail. This product may cost a little more, but it is perfectly designed.

My wife gave me one 15 years ago to reach the top shelves in my closet. (10' ceiling) I've used it around the house for so many things and love it. Very sturdy, light weight, opens and closes with the touch of a finger. I recently bought one identical to mine for her use in her new business because it's so easy to use and much sturdier than the Werner she was using. And light weight!

Bought this to re arrange some boxes in our apartment (space is limited! esp if u board, ski, surf, bake and and!). I bought the 2 step because it was the perfect size allowing me to SAFELY reach the top shelves in the kitchen (which were previously not actually functional because they were too high). Same in my tiny storage room. I have added 40% space now due to me maximizing the vertical spaces. On top of that - I REALLY like that it doesnt have a top step, but instead a bar which REALLY makes this safe as well, not risk taking by balancing on a little platform with a box over your head. Im 5'8" (not tall) and this allows me to reach every space safely and comfortably. Its sturdy, packs really small (now that I have space!) and is very light to move/unfold/store away (aluminum).I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a really sturdy yet light step ladder.TIP: I measured the distance from using no ladder to my topmost shelves, added a few extra inches - turns out this was a perfect purchase for household use.

Because this ladder is so light I use it more than my heavy duty ladder. It saves time. Easy to unfold or fold. I feel safe standing on the top step.

Light weight and very strong

Easy, light and something I use all the time!Tall enough to get into our storage spaces up above our closest on my own! Now I don’t have to ask my husband to get the big heavy ladder out every single time I want to change holiday decorations / etc.super light / durable / easy!

I am holding back a star only because i just received it a day ago and dont have a lengthy enough duration to comment on the durability of this. But it is everything they say it is - lightweight, with a little space for your tools on the top and high stable enough that when I reach up even on my tippy toes on the last step, it remains as is. I was so impressed with how lightweight it was as I had ordered several things and was wondering how to carry this up when they were delivered. but i literally hooked it over my wrist and carried the other boxed together with it and went up the elevator!! Also, It is such an easy snap shut and pull-open folding mechanism, it squeezes into a tiny space i have in my apartment closet.One caveat, I use it around a medium sized apartment that has relatively tall ceilings than usual. It works well with my nails and powerdrill to carry around as i put up shelves and lighting. I am not sure how it would work for more heavy duty work. And it's a nice height for my apartment, may be too high for smaller apartments/low ceilings.
