The Art of Electronics

Packaging was really good. No damages in the book. Paper quality is really good. Images (not the circuits) could be better. but, when i compared the book with the kindle edition both seems similar. So, Seems I got Original book. So, happy to start my new journey learning the bible of Electronics. Since thanks to Oggy books who was the seller of this book. Amazon for the amazing package. All the books which I purchased from amazon is in good quality than Flipkart.

If you want to design circuits, this book is a must. There is no replacement. Book deals at very practical nature discussing individual components. Every paragraph has good information. The book has minimal maths and derivations, rather it handle the subject intuitively. No previous knowledge of electronics is required to understand. Due to minimal maths and small number of practice questions, this book is not recommend for GATE, ESE or similar exams. Delivery wad fast, condition of Book was excellent.

Book ? No. It's like a god. But beware if you think it's for a blank state. Yeah it's meant for blank states but for natives. You need to have a certain calibre and prior knowledge to get full out of this. You could think that you can read a chapter in a day but it can easily takes weeks to complete one.

Good books usually get better every time it is revised by the original author/s. This book has also been thoroughly improved, but there is a rider - The most interesting circuits have been left out for their corollary book - the X files. Brilliantly planned and presented, thoroughly readable . But we had to wait like kids for the next Harry Potter.

A long awaited wishlist item finally fulfilled although I had the pdf version....Thanks to Amazon.in but the third-party seller took quite long to deliver....was worried about multiple AoE counterfeit product being sold but luckily I got an original one(verified with EEVblog mailbag review of Dave Jones)....The book is quite heavy and nicely binded with fine quality papers and best quality print...About the contents I dont think I need to mention anything else...The name itself speaks a lot. A must buy for the practical electronics engineer

Books Page quality is very poor

LLego en perfecto estado, es un libro "extraño" practicamente no maneja matemáticas eso puede gustar pero se adentra en el funcionamiento de los dispositivos y obviamente el autor consideera que el lector tiene el bagaje mantemático necesario para enternder correctamente. Hace mucho enfasis en el uso de tablas y graficas de características del dispositivo "Datasheets". Es entretenido pero si hay que estudiar alguno otro el de Sedra o Rashid , boylestad. etc

Um livro que traz dicas práticas de grande valia para quem já tem base teórica e trabalha em projetos e manutenção de circuitos eletrônicos. Resume a maioria de dicas encontradas em "datasheets". Aborda asssuntos correlatos de determinados componentes ou dispositivos, indicando vantagens e soluções de compromisso ("trade-offs"). Penso que seja uma publicação mais orientada a profissionais do ramo, ou então iniciantes que querem dominar o assunto. Acredito não ser muito adequado como publicação para uma sequência didática, e sim para consultas.

This book is a good read and is very detailed. It is structured well. I find I read my lighter books as an introduction and rely on this one to then fill in the detail. It also helps to come into this book pre-prepared. The book has two siblings. One is a follow along with physical experiments. I have both and they cross reference each other well. The third book is all digital electronics, which I may purchase as I learn more. I have the real books, not e-books and the quality from Cambridge University press is superb. The first book is hard cover and no they don't come cheap. The one serious criticism is that as University type texts, they pose problems to work through. They do NOT provide the worked solutions, so you don't know if you are correct or not. Being picky now - it would look nicer without the horrible yellow triangle on the cover! Otherwise - highly recommended.
