These are great weights that do exactly what I need (tiny little gainz). The only issue I’ve had with it is the cotton drawstring bag ripped, which caused kind of an embarrassing situation on the gym floor for me. I recommend that you only take the weights you think you’ll need with you, because the seam can’t handle all of them. I’m going over the seam with a serger. They arrived in a nice package and quickly. Plus they’re made in the USA. Noice!

The packaging was good to prevent product damage and a storage bag was included. Using these weights to train are great for adding an extra pound or more each session. Best training tool for the money.

I took a chance (no reviews at the time of purchase) and purchased these because the price was competitive, the listing claims that each plate is accurate to +/- 5 grams, and they’re listed as being made in Pennsylvania (made in the USA is always a plus for me). I already have a set of the old Rogue Fitness fractional plates and these were purchased so that I could have a total of 4 of each weight to use on a pair of Titan Fitness loadable dumbbells.The plates arrived in 2 days (Amazon Prime shipping) and they were boxed in a black cardboard box with cardboard spacers between the plates to keep them from banging into each other during shipping. The box and plates arrived in good condition. As stated in the listing, the box also contained a canvas carrying bag which I’ll never use since my “gym” is in my basement; the bag seems durable if you’re going to travel to and from a gym with the plates.I weighed all of the plates using an Amazon Basics kitchen scale which has proven to be accurate and weighs down to 0.1 ounce. Within the accuracy of this scale, all but one of the plates weighed exactly what they are supposed to weigh and the one that didn’t, a 0.75-pound plate, weighed 11.9 ounces (0.74 pounds) rather than 12 ounces, which is -0.8%, more than close enough for me. (0.1 ounces is about 2.8 grams, so it’s within the stated tolerances.)The approximate thickness of the plates (as measured with a cheap dial caliper) are as follows:1.25 lb. 0.815” thick1.0 lb., 0.650” thick0.75 lb., 0.490” thick0.50 lb., 0.330” thick0.25 lb., 0.165” thickThe fit to a Rogue Ohio Power Bar is good, not as good as my Rogue fractional plates but they’re close enough and certainly they’re a much better fit than some cheap CAP plates I have. If I had purchased another set of Rogue fractional plates I would have had to purchase a pair of 1.25-pound plates separately and with shipping and taxes that would cost $114.28 (that includes shipping and tax) which is more than double the cost of the Micro Gainz plate set.Why only 4 stars not 5? The plates have some small manufacturing marks and some dings along the edges. If you’re OCD, you may have issues with them but there’s nothing that bad that I’m bothered by it; after all, they’re weight lifting plates, they’re not sitting on my coffee table. Also, I knew from the pictures of the plates that they were all black and I can live with that but if they were color coded they would be 5 stars.In conclusion, considering the price, the accuracy of the weights, and the made in USA factor, these are a very good deal.

I have some 1lb Micro Gains Dumbbell Weights that are fantastic. Unfortunately, the powder coat and finish on these fractional plates was not as good and I returned them because much less expensive alternatives with better powder coating and finish were available elsewhere. Couldn't justify the price for the lower quality. Might simply have been a bad batch?

If you need fractional weight plates especially for power lifting and strength training these are it. They are perfect if you need to pop them in your gym bag to take to your gym to use. And if you want to build up to a big bench and or strict press your 100 % going to need these to do it. Also this is a made in America product.
