100% efficient. Holds a lot of hot ashes and embers with ease. I only bring it inside to clean out the wood stove. Has held up in New England weather well this winter. (Stays outside to cool the ashes). Lid fits snug shovel holder is a real bonus. Great product. I recommend for anyone with a wood stove to use for all related chores.

It's well made. Lid fits tightly. The shovel holder is handy. The shovel handle is shorter than our hanging tools which makes it easier to get all ash out.
