Grateful we Found This
My son had all sorts of gas problems. He would wake up in pain, and as a result, was not getting the sleep he needed at night and during naps. It was awful to see him in pain especially in the evening and in the early morning. He would writhe and scream. We massaged his stomach and tried several other things. Gripe water and the Little Tummies drops did not work. This was recommended by a pharmacist friend in the UK. Here, I could only find it here and on Walgreens. It is a real pain to prepare all the bottles ahead of time, and my husband was really skeptical. But it works! I guess he wasn't able to process the lactose in formula. Once we started using this, he was a different baby. I ended up preparing the bottles with two drops and then storing them in the fridge to reheat. I had to be very organized, but it was worth it. At about 3 and a half months, I started weaning him off with fewer drops, and by four months, he wasn't using the drops anymore. There could be many reasons a baby has painful gas, and we're really grateful that we found the thing that worked for us!

JUST BUY THEM. It will change you life.
BUY THESE!!! If you baby is experiencing "colic" these are worth a shot. We tried everything - Gripe Water, Mylicon, eliminating dairy in my diet, digestive enzymes for me, and probiotics for me and the baby. Nothing worked. These have been a miracle. I mostly pump breastmilk and I can put 2-4 drops of these in each bottle (2 if it will sit for a while and 4 if I intend to feed in the next 30 minutes) and my baby does much better. She still has gas, but no more inconsolable crying bouts that last 60-90 minutes every time she eats!! For breastfeeding you can put some pump milked in a spoon or small bowl and add 4 drops, then suck it up with a syringe (the kind you probably got with gripe water or tylenol) and give it to the baby right before breastfeeding. I showed the drops to the pediatrician and lactation consultant and they said they are perfectly safe. These do ship from Ireland so they will take some time to arrive (about 2 weeks). If you need them fast you may want to find a local company that sells them.

Not easy to administer if nursing
Takes a lot of work to administer if breastfeeding. Per the instructions, you are supposed to add 4 drops to a “few tablespoons” of expressed milk and then continue feeding. So the issue with that if you are nursing is that you have to let your baby cry a little while you go pump out some milk, then feed via bottle the 2 ounces (3 tablespoons = 2 ounces) and then continue nursing. This would be a lot easier if you use formula or pump exclusively. And then you could prepare in advance. I think it is too much work for nursing moms. And why does it have to sit in formula for 30 minutes but not expressed breast milk? Very confusing.

Worst cries ever after giving the drops
I gave the drops to my 6 weeks old and he started to have pain discomfort the whole day. He never cried for so long and so hurtful until these drops.Just stick to the gas drops or gripe water….

Worked!
We tried it with our 2 week old but were skeptical, plus the whole "must be mixed 30 minutes in advance" seemed kinda impossible. However, i had to write this review because it worked and it's doable. I had to start pumping milk, putting it in bottles in 1 feeding portions, adding the drops and refrigirating them. So at night i put a few bottles of milk on ice and bring them up into the bedroom before sleep. All i have to do is warm up a bottle when baby wakes up, which takes only a couple of minutes. Baby is so much calmer, gets better sleep, doesn't wake up or stay up crying and stretching and kicking his little legs. I was not happy about having to pump milk and losing the one on one time of breastfeeding, but when i saw how much better my son felt, it made it worth it. Hopefully i can wean him off it in a couple of months and go back to breastfeeding.Follow up: baby is now almost 5 months old. We used Colief for 1 month and were able to stop with no issues.

Not what I expected!
From the minute it came, its not worth it. The package was opened, as well as the box the medicine came. It did still have the seal. So we tried it. However, it didnt. My son had colic & gas pains. & If anything, it made it all worse. Price is expensive for just a little bottle. & The bottle doesnt last long at all! & The directions are ridiculous. I had to search online for quite a while to figure out how to even use it. I def don't recommend. There is other, better products for the same price.

Why don't more people know about these?!
I never write reviews, but I live my life based off amazon reviews. My ped gave me these and I threw them in a drawer not thinking I would need them and totally forgot about them!! Fast forward two weeks and my three week old hasn't pooped in over a week and has the most awful gas making her stomach so hard and bloated. I went into the drawer I threw them in looking for another pacifier and saw these. I immediately started using them and after 24 hours I am a huge believer. She has been pooping and passing gas just fine all day. I'm upset there's only 49 reviews and these arent more widely known!! I'll tell everyone I know and hopefully word gets out. They are a Pain to administer but worth it! I exclusively pump so I put the drops in the milk then put it in the fridge. Sometimes I keep fresh expressed milk out at room temperature and I just put 4 drops into that and feed her the drops in her bottle. I figure that's similar to doing it as you would right before breastfeeding. We are BOTH so relieved!
