Great egg white protein and value...just not for keto bread...yet
Purchased many times before the added sunflower lecithin and used it for great keto bread like recipes...it was PERFECT. Before I needed more saw the reviews about the addition of sunflower lecithin and that it no longer whipped. Then the crazy price increase...was easy to not buy.Purchased other egg white protein for my recipes and kept watching prices and reviews. I tried this new version at the recent lower price and because I saw a review saying it still whips just takes longer. NOT for me...I can not get better than a cake batter consistency so far. I'm still experimenting...it does work really well for egg wraps.I don't find any strange smell or taste as some have said. It mixes easier than the purer version, hardly clumps. If I can find a way to use it for bready recipes I will purchase again at these lower prices. It was my favorite and always got it at a very good price.

Consistently great quality; especially great for those watching carbohydrates.
I typically use one serving (one serving is 1/4 cup of this particular egg white protein powder) with a high fiber hemp protein powder, spirulina powder, chlorella powder, matcha green tea powder, frozen pineapple, frozen pomegranate arils, frozen triple berry blend, MCT oil, and two & a half cups of water. It keeps me full from about 7 a.m. until about 1 or 2 p.m. I have lost about seven lbs having this smoothie every morning, in conjunction with a pretty clean diet that is light on the carbs. While I have been switching it up with whey protein powder, hemp protein powder, and a plant-based protein powder to see what suits my body and lifestyle best, I find I reach for this egg white protein powder mixed with hemp protein powder in my smoothies more often than I reach for the other protein powders I have. When using an actual blender to mix it, it isn't gritty whatsoever; the consistency is very smooth (pretty much undetectable); it dissolves completely without leaving any clumps. I can't really comment on the taste of the powder by itself or mixed with just water & cooked as an egg substitute, however I can say I really do love the flavor of my morning smoothie with this in it & I actually look forward to it. When using a different brand of egg white protein powder blended with my usual frozen fruits & everything I would babysit it... it would take me about an hour to force it down. With all that being said, I will absolutely be repurchasing. I am consistently delivered a quality product and I love that the five lb tub keeps me from having to reorder every month... I wish I could add a sixth star for the pure convenience of this brand offering such a large tub of it!A really awesome way to add a complete protein to your morning smoothie... love that it's significantly lower in calories that many other types of protein powders, and I don't have to worry about my smoothies having too many carbohydrates in them.

I use this for cooking and it works great as long as I don't need whipped egg whites.
I use this for cooking protein breads, pancakes/waffles, and any other recipes calling for eggs and it works great. Adding it to hot & sour soup also works well. I don't use eggs very often and too often throw some away. I bought this along with some egg yolk powder that I now use instead and keep them in the freezer between uses.

Do NOT buy for keto baking or PSMF breads 🤮
Do NOT buy this for keto cooking or PSMF bread!Egg White Protein Powder, 5 pounds Lot #3371738 expires 9/2026Now’s latest version of egg white protein powder looks okay but smells a little “off”. For baking, it doesn't whip up like egg whites; even with my stand mixer, additional “sugar” and cream of tartar it was clumpy and, at best, made a wet foam consistency. I tried to salvage the mix by making pancakes, muffins, a small loaf.Oh boy, when this stuff starts to get golden brown, BAD things start happening. A putrid stench, akin to a mixture of chemicals, rancid oil, rotten fish, and burned bread, permeated my house and stuck in my nose. It looked beautifully baked but was inedible - dense, gummy, smelly. I tried multiple attempts using 3 different delicious recipes that I made several times with an earlier Now EWPP - the newest powder failed all the recipes. Now Foods website has multiple reviews experiencing similar dissatisfaction with the new egg white protein powderI guess if you’re keeping it cold in a shake or smoothies, it would be edible. Baking/cooking is a hard no-go; such an offensive odor when heated makes me wonder what is happening on a chemical level in the EWPP; is it safe to consume uncooked? Are the fumes harmful? Are the BCAA ingredients being damaged when cooked?

Favorite Smoothie Component
I like the chocolate. It adds just the right amount of taste and nutrients with my smoothie fruits without adding a lot of calories.

Cheaper than other brands.
I use this egg white powder to make scrambled eggs and it works great. I like a lot of eggs so I just mix five tablespoons of the egg white powder with one cup of water. I also had some psyllium husk powder, cream of tartar, and baking powder. I tried mixing 1/4 teaspoons of each with the five tablespoons of egg white powder and one cup of water. The result is in a slightly fluffier, slightly bulkier, and slightly sour or citric tasting scrambled eggs. Absolutely do not go over that amount for those three ingredients. Too much cream of tartar will ruin the eggs by making them sour. Too much baking powder will ruin the taste texture, the way it feels in your mouth when you are chewing on it. And too much psyllium husk powder will make it look sweaty, slimy, gross, and gelatinous looking.
