I like it
Wishing this was a 7200rpm device for 4K video editing. Also, wish the footprint was a bit smaller. Other than that, great drive that's dependable. Has a nice green glowing light. I prefer that over the bright white light on some drives.

My new go-to brand of drives
I know there are a lot of compact drives available, but I've settled on the Glyph BlackBox drives as being a great value, especially at their price point. Super reliable and well made, I really like the construction of the shell as well as the rubber jacket feature that adds shock protection. Have been using these pretty exclusively for a few months now and planning to order some more as my need for more memory and portable drives increases.

Sleek and reliable
This is the second Glyph I bought and my decision was based on the experience I'm having with the first one. One year on, the first Glyph is working perfectly. The second one is for transferring files. This is good value for the money, but then one would expect that storage gets cheaper over time.

What is inside? (Updated Review)
Updated:The enclosure has big flaw, it doesn't power down properly after safely removing USB. After unplug USB cable, for SSD, SMART records unexpected power shutdown; for HDD, a mechanical squeaking noise can be heard. No other enclosure i have has this problem. Stay away from this product.* The case is metal except the cover side with USB-C connector and light which is a plastic piece.* Rubber sleeve is thick and appears good quality. Rubber sleeve has two footing that are stackable.* The drive inside is WD blue SSD WDS200T2B0A* The frame holding the SSD with 4 screws is plastic, it is one piece to the cover side.* Control chip of USB-C is ASM235CM.* two cables included are one foot long.

HIGH QUALITY SSD. I'M VERY HAPPY!
No heat. This SSD runs cool, with zero complication. Extreme high quality and lighting fast. Would purchase again without hesitation.

not 7200 RPM. Lame.
USB-C with a 5400 RPM platter is just absolutely useless.

Great SSD
Love this drive, use it to store video content For Resolume Playback. So far, haven't had any issues, and runs cool. Just very expensive, but considering the 3.8Tb size it is worth it. Keeps my library in single drive at this time.
