Best electronics cleaner I have used.
Had battery operated flashlights that the leakage made beyond saving. Thought I give it a try. WOW is all I can say. Saved me a lot of money. Easy to use and left no residue. Great product.

Cleaning Vintage Stereo Equipment
I have a 1980's era Carver Stereo system that rarely was used in the phono selection (for a turntable). I purchased a restored a vintage Pioneer PL 518 turntable as I wanted to listen to vinyl again. Once I had completed the restoration I found that the selection know on my pre-amplifier was inconsistent when selected for the left and right channels. I was told by a good friend that this product would remove the oxidation on the contacts that were causing this issue. After removing the covers to the pre-amplifier and applying a small amount to the contacts I reassembled the pre-amplifier and it worked as if it were new. Does what it says!

The DN5 is the best thing to clean dirty potentiometers, sliders, switches.
I worked on pro audio for more than 20 years and this stuff is indispensable for working on sound equipment. It quickly quiets noisy, scratchy, volume controls and other connections in the signal path and lasts a long time (the effects). Don't confuse it with D5 or any other contact cleaner. DN5 is the one you want.

Best electrical spray hands down.
2nd can I have bought. The first one lasted me quite a while and it had the adjustable nozzle which was nice. This time I went with the flexible straw. Either way it's the perfect combo of contact cleaner, oxidation remover, and corrosion protection. I use this on all my electrical connections when working on any of my vehicles. Especially the older motorcycle projects.

Tiny can for a huge price!
I guess I didn't pay attention to the size of the can. Priced like it's liquid gold. Thankfully it sprays out very lightly and should last a while. I found it to have no ability to clean corrosive terminals. None. Nadda. Zilch. I think people think it is cleaning corrosion since it has a very low boiling point. It's just boiling, not eating up corrosion.UPDATE: Yesterday I was cleaning some gold plated contacts inside switches and I felt I had cleaned them well with a pencil eraser and even used an air hose to blow out any eraser residue. Yet some were not up to par when testing them. I sprayed a little DeOxit inside and presto-magico! They worked great! I went up only to only 4 stars due to the exorbitant price of the stuff. On other things like volume control pots, for 20+ years I've had excellent results with the Wal M store brand super tech spray lubricant most of the time. I don't think I've had a single return of a faulty volume control after using that. It's similar to WD-40 but doesn't dry up and get sticky. Well if it does, it takes over 20 years to happen! So due to the cost, I will only use the De Oxit when I really need it.
