Q: What happens if I wash it at home on gentle rather than dry clean? I don't like the idea of all those chemicals. Will it shrink if wet?

I wash mine at home and dry it. It does just fine. My sister does the same with hers. She’s a the one who got me to buy mine because of how much she loves her.

Q: How has it done with stains? Have you had any ? Have you managed to remove them smoothly?

We've had no stains so far and e little girls play on this bed with barbies etc

Q: Is this more for looks or an every day comfortable blanket?

I love this bedspread. It is very lightweight, will be great for summer but will need a blanket on it for cooler weather. It’s pretty to look at and Is very soft to use daily.
