Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Hair Color Creme, 61 Light Ash Brown (Mochaccino) (Packaging May Vary)

Excellent ash brown colour, quite light for a brown, without any brassy tones at all. However, having also tried the European Nutrisse hair dyes, I noticed that the US version leaves hair quite dry. I wonder why Garnier don't produce this colour in Europe, and why they don't produce the same quality of product in the US.

I like nourishment of hair but no ash in colour just brown. So disappointed amazon .

First: I love this! 3 years ago I got my hair dyed at a salon and told the woman that my father, sister, and grandmother are redheads with a sister and grandmother who are blonde. There are serious red tones in my medium brown hair, as well as blonde tones to the point where my winter hair looks like roots because my gets very light in just one summer. Needless to say the stylist didn’t believe me, chose to not do cool tones and turned my hair dark pink, yuck! So I get nervous when choosing a hair dye, and always choose an ash brown. This is definitely ash brown and it matched my hair color perfectly, covered my grays! The other thing I like is how nourished my hair felt after I dyed it. I looked in the mirror and immediately thought, “WOW!” My hair has never looked so smooth and shiny, it really made my hair shimmer!

I have learned that my hair just doesn’t hold color well. It is extremely fine, not sure if that has something to do with it, and very bright golden blonde naturally. The before on the left is after trying the “dark natural blonde” which is 2 shades darker than my natural hair. Only about a half-1 shade held. This time I tried the “light ash brown” and it’s finally noticeable but still looks more like a medium-dark blonde. I still like it and it’s definitely ashy. Just don’t accidentally get it on the wall like I did. It stains very gray haha Makes your hair super soft. Mine is already fine so post dye and conditioning, it feels almost non existent like some kind of hair cloud.

I was looking for something that didn’t have any brassy color in it and this is perfect! I love how the ash tone looks. My hair is mostly gray and this has good coverage. Now I just need to find a great shampoo that won’t wash out the color!
