I’ve been using this for many years. It makes it easy to organize documents to support the entries on the tax return.

This is the third year that I have used this product to keep my receipts/records for tax purposes. I have an interior design business in my home and like having the option of creating my own categories, as well as some suggested printed ones. I fold the cover flap all the way back and drop the entire file, in expanded form, right into my top file drawer at my desk. It's handy and has helped me develop and maintain organized habits about receipts/records/ expenses/and banking. When I change checkbooks, I simply tear out the duplicates and drop them into the correct file. Full check registers have their spot, too. By the end of the calendar year, I have all my bank statements, checkbook duplicates/registers, my appointment book, mileage book, receipts, 1099's, etc. I pull the whole file out, label it the year it represents, and I'm ready for tax-preparation. No more cramming in boxes, closets, and attics! Everything for a whole year is in one expanding file!The first two years I used this product, I bought it at Walmart for about $8. I could no longer find the product there for 2012, so I went online with the info on the files for 2010 and 2011. Purchasing directly from the vendor was about $25 with shipping, but worth it at that!

It is nice and sturdy, holds a lot and has a very convenient handle to carry it with.

Did not receive everything that should of come with it.

Now I don't have to worry in the event of natural disasters; have all emergency papers here, will grab and go! Need to add some photographs as well I suppose..maybe on a thumb drive or something. LOVE THIS.

I really like this tax folder organizer. I didn’t read the description when I purchased it, so I was pleasantly surprised to see they had pre made labels for everything you could possibly need for tax dedications and very simple instructions. I ordered two more for my mom and sister, because the folder is durable, effective and convenient.

This is a perfectly decent basic folder with lots of sections (and it comes with sticker for labelling), but it's waaaay overpriced for what it is. It's too much hassle to return so I've decided to keep it and use it, but I don't think it's worth what I paid for it. If it was half the price though, I'd reorder.
