Perfect quality and great “manual”
The spirulina was of a great quality. But more important, the “manual” is absolutely great!Thank you seller, really, really appreciated!!

I named my algae “Shrek”
The instructions were clear and thorough. I haven’t gotten to the point of harvesting but so far “Shrek” is doing good! I set it up with a timer for the lights and bubbler.

Would give it 5 stars if the price was cheaper
I bought this and like that it came with a booklet filled with all the info you needed. Would give it 5 stars if it was cheaper. But you are buying it for quality live sample of spirulina from labs. Its still alive after about a month of having it. Would buy again if i had to.

It was the worst
The culture wasn't fresh.I looked through my microscope. Most of them were filled with unknown microalgae.I've contacted the seller about this,I didn't get any reply.I wasted time and money.I regret buying it.I don't recommend it.

I really don't know how to rate this...
I really don't know how to rate this...if you're english like myself, then you might think they make the directions harder than they need to be - you can read an example of what I'm talking about in the photos I provided. The directions are almost setup entirely as if they think the consumer has a lab for algae...Aside from that issue - within 3 days of propagating my culture, the water turned from dark lush green to basically opaque. No sign of algae. I used 26 grams of the SSD1+2 nutrient they provided and did the "all-in-one" method. Which means adding the nutrient to a half gallon of dechlorinated water, stirring for 10 minutes and immediately adding the algae. My culture is aerated and on a seedling heat mat under white and blue light. From the picture, you can see my healthy chlorella culture in the gallon ball jar and my depressing spirulina culture to the right along with the original bottle of healthalgae spirulina - I only used half the culture as I was worried about this happening. The culture spent a long time in the mail. I live in Eastern US and it came from Sweden... Upon opening the culture it smelled bad as if a lot of it was already going bad/dead. So idk if it's an issue on my part or shipping time or both...With the remaining half bottle of the culture I plan on using gulliards algae nutrient, a dropper or two of ionic trace elements, and maybe some sodium bicarbonate as a pH buffer. Im extremely dissappointed but regarding shipping time, I kind of expected it...I have both chlorella and a soil algae culture going and they're thriving, so hopefully I still have a chance with what's left of this starter....but buyer beware...
