Dr. Hauschka Eye Definer, Taupe

Goes on as smoothly as is possible - still a little jumpy on my very dry skin with a few light creases, but better than many.The taupe is much darker than what I need, almost a light charcoal with hint of brown. If I rubbed it against my dark taupe sweater, it would leave a darker line. Makeup taupe is not clothing taupe. The color does avoid the orangey or red hints of many brown shades. I will use it for evening affairs.I am looking for a much gentler color for everyday, no-make up look. Wanted to replace the lovely Aveda, sepia color pencil, with a pencil just a touch darker. This one goes too far. Also, not as creamy as Aveda. This makes it easier to smudge Hauschka for that smokey, softer line.Both Aveda and Dr Hauschka are careful about ingredients. I think Dr Hauschka products are a bit more careful. Neither of them bother my skin.

Stays on for hours. Goes on smoothly.
