I'm very happy with this notebook. I love how bright the color is. I got the Lime Green although it is actually bright neon yellow. Not green at all. That's ok. I knew that when I ordered it and got exactly what I wanted. The embossed fox is very nice and elegant. I love the bright white pages. It's super light weight too. Lighter than my current Bullet Journal. This is my first notebook with a pen loop and it holds my pen nicely with a good grip. It's not loose at all and I don't worry that the pen will slip out. It comes with a set of rainbow icon stickers. The only thing that concerns me a bit is that the dots are spaced out closer together than in my first Bullet Journal which is the standard size. I wish the dot spacing wasn't so small. If you're following someone else's layout by number of squares yours will come out smaller. Luckily I'm not using this one as a Bullet Journal. Because it's so light weight and easy to carry I am using it as my travel journal where I will write down and draw the things I see in new places. It will be used like Ellie's Adventure book from Up. I will paste photos and tickets into it to remember my travels. I liked this so much that I have ordered two more. One in Turquoise and one in the peach color. I can use one as an idea book just for writing. I'd love to use this as a Bullet Journal so I really hope they fix the dot spacing issue. There is no pocket in the back. Would be great if the pocket was included. I have made my own though that matches the outside in bright yellow. I Love the three ribbons as when I am working in it I have to mark more than one page if I'm looking back at older layouts. I love that the ribbons are silky. I just wish they matched the color of the journal. Perhaps each book could have two of the cover color and one black in the center. This is almost a perfect notebook and I do want to get one in each color. I ordered a blue one as a gift for a friend that's out of state. I do recommend these. I also have a video review on my youtube Thagirion9. Purple is always out of stock. I hope you will get more of those in and I agree with the other review to add an orange. Bright colors are the best.

I've been using Clever Fox planners for years, but I was never a journal-er until this year. I knew I wanted a dot-grid journal for flexibility and I knew I loved the quality of Clever Fox products, so naturally I tried out theirs. I've had this journal since January - about to order a second one.For me this journal is ideal. I love the size, color (rose gold), cover material and paper quality. It wasn't a must-have when I was shopping for a journal, but now I don't think I could live without the pen loop. What's the use of a journal if you can't find your pen? Having never used a dot-journal before, I did not have the issue other reviewers have noted with adjusting to a different grid size. I usually write on every other "line" since my writing is a little to wild to confine to single-spacing, but this doesn't bother me. Bottom line for me is that this journal is aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable to use, which helps me *want* to journal every day. I don't think you can get a better small dot journal for the money.

I journal almost every day and always have a notebook with me to write down my thoughts. I love everything about this notebook! First of all, the size is perfect for tucking into a purse or bag when you are on the go. Second, the hardcover provides a sturdy writing surface if you are writing in the book on your lap. I also appreciate the way the book is bound ... the pages open completely flat, which means the paper on the other side doesn't flop over while you working. The paper is sturdy and can handle being erased if you choose to pencil in something first. I love that there are three ribbon place holders, in case you want to create different sections, or mark something that you want to come back to. I also love that the pages are numbered. I often free write ideas that come to me, and the numbers will allow me to create an index in the back of the notebook by topic/project to reference later. I love the pen loop, allowing me to keep my favorite pen handy with my notebook at all times. (There's nothing more frustrating than not having a place to keep your pen. :) ) If there is one thing I could change about the notebook, it would be to make it the same exact width and height as the Clever Fox planner; however, this is not a deal breaker for me. I love my planner, and envisioned the notebook being the same exact size when I ordered it. It is about 1/4" shorter in height and about 1/2" smaller in width. I haul the notebook and planner around together and my symmetry-loving heart wants them to match exactly, but like I said, it won't stop me from using it or purchasing it again.
