The price and fast shipping. I barbecue rain or shine and. Thes burger presses work great making beef patties. I will use these when I fire up the smoker. I smoke burgers in the smoker for 3 hours. The beef patties shrink a lot less when using these presses in my opinion

The purpose of the rings will be obvious when you grill. First, what I love about this press, is that all of my burgers are about the same size. I make them a little thicker and flip at the same time if I want one to be medium or so. After I make four or six, I cover one side with salt, pepper, garlic salt, some bacon shreds, and worcestershire in the middle circle. Flip, and do the same to the other side. Pop 'em on the grill at about 450*, and wait 3-5 minutes. By this time, the juices inside have boiled to the top of the burger. THIS is where the rings come in handy!!! I flip the burgers over, and the juices are now on the bottom. They ATTEMPT to gather to the center of the burger to drip out, and do so unsuccessfully. Cheese goes on after two minutes. By the time a few drips get out, the juices start boiling back up the top again. Once you look at your burger and it's juicy on top and the cheese is melted, they're done. And I promise, friends, you WILL have the juiciest, tastiest, most flavorful burgers in YOUR circle, too. (I use 85/15 hamburger meat)

Worth every penny! Better price through Amazon, they beat the price by 5 bucks less than the warehouse club store. I used the one my daughter bought to make a massive amount of burgers for a holiday barbecue. Each burger cooked quickly and evenly. Much better than burgers pounded out by hand. We filled a large aluminum pan with hamburgers and separated the layers with foil. Refrigerated them over night so we had time with the guests instead of preparing food all day. Even great for a small amount of burgers, because is't easy to clean.I'm adding this item to my list of gift giving ideas. I can't wait to share my new find!

I bought one of these at our local " Home Goods" store. I had made hamburgers with my hands for 45 years and wasn't at all sure i needed another gadget to store and wash. Well let me tell you, i did! The burgers come out exactly the same size and thickness so they all cook uniformly! Also, the little rings formed by the press help them to cook faster, so they don't dry out. Just try this silly thing and you will know what i mean. It is great!My daughter had dinner with us one evening and decided she had to have one too. I couldnt find one here anymore, but lo and behold Amazon came to the rescue! Not only that, but Amazon had it cheaper!

I have used the single Charcoal Companion and liked it better. The double seems to be a little awkward and hard to use. I have cut it to make 2 singles and it works much better for me.

Best burger press ever. The rings help make the burgers almost fluffy! Can make thinner or thicker sizes.

Very happy with this product. Shaping the patties was always the toughest part of making burgers. Not any more. I love this thing. I can make the patties as thick as I want and the way grooves are put in the patties is perfect. Love it.

I love this product. It's the first one I have purchased that makes even patties and has useful divots that allow the hamburger patty to keep its shape in the BBQ.
