Making a Short Story Longer
Nice enough characters, and an easy style of story telling. But there is some credibility gap when a man suddenly loses his wife, job and lifestyle, and three weeks later decides to become involved and in love with the fellow who repairs bicycles in his brother's shop. If only coming out were that smooth for everyone!Yes, one can find a new life in new surroundings, but this author's main character makes too sudden an about-face, I think.Still, it's an easy and leisurely read for a snowy Sunday afternoon.

Well written stories
Interesting read. Not what I expected. The stories strike a chord and are not just an excuse for unnecessary sex.

Or Many Short Stories does a Book Make
I liked the style with the series stories of event snapshots over a significant time period. It was a nice way of jumping through a variety of events but I missed the connections. It is an excellent commuter book where you have nice succinct breaks that you can pick up on the next leg. A little too PG 13.

disjointed and no connections at all...boring
The title is the most alluring part of the very breezy-short-read of a "novel." Boring, no details, just teasing ideas that are never pursued. I hope his other title (which I also bought) is better...not much of a challenge to beat this title. More hype than actuality.

waste of time
empty and vapid. it was not worth the time , in fact it seemed to have been written by a high schooler.

Thin
Very thin book. I kept waiting for something to develop. It remained vapid to the end. Better title would be full frontal disappointment.
