Old Factory Scented Candles - Hippie Mix - Set of 3: Reefer, Incense, and Bag O Cookies - 3 x 4-Ounce Soy Candles - Each Votive Candle is Handmade in The USA with Only The Best Fragrance Oils

Bought this on a whim to scent my house in the Man Cave fashion . Read mixed reviews and decided to give it a shot anyways. Unfortunately the reviews were right. First, as the reviews state, these jars are smaller than you may think. The "Straight Razor" was disappointing...opened the jar and not much scent to even speak of, and that was the only the beginning. The "Mohagany" was not much better, I confined that to just my bedroom and it smelled great if you were directly over it. . Holding out that the "Leather" is going to bring something better to the table, since the scent is stronger than the first two and I'm saving it for last, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I wouldn't recommend these to family or friends, nor will I repeat my purchase. I am the guy who usually blows past some harsh skeptics and give a product a shot...but from this Bearded Combat Veteran, never again. Sorry "Old Factory" (kudos on the company name pun), but you washed out...

These candles smell like the kind of man you would want to go on a date with. Like maybe you just put your face in his chest and inhale. Because he smells like a big, strong man, but not like some janky gross werewolf. The kind of man from the romance novels your mom used to read and you were like, “Mom. That guy doesn’t exist.” Well, guess what. The best part of that man does exist, and he is in. These. Candles.I bought them as a gift for my boyfriend’s brother. He likes them a lot. Great gift for a man, especially if you know he likes candles. Better gift for your nose. Because it is like smelling Alexander Skarsgard, Aquaman, and Jordan Catalano on their best days. You don’t need a man. You just need these candles.

This set of 3 candles ("Aftershave", "Shaving Cream", & "Talc") (I listed them in order of preference, with "Aftershave" being my favorite) arrived well-packaged in a sturdy cardboard box, inside of which is an attractively decorated box, with the candles separated from each other by cardboard dividers. The attractive packaging would make this a nice gift for someone who "seems to have everything", or whom you know to enjoy candles!It's hard to describe scents, but there's something about the "Aftershave" candle that makes me just want to smell it over-and-over! There's almost a cinnamon-y smell to it, which I really like. The "Shaving Cream" really does smell like shaving cream; it reminds me of being a kid, and playing with my dad's shaving cream (which I wasn't supposed to do), but it smelled great and was fun to play with. The "Talc" scent is the mildest of the 3, and it does smell like baby powder, which I happen to like. With my work, I visit a lot of people in their homes, and I always notice how much nicer a home smells when a candle is burning. I enjoy the smell of candles, and considering I have several kitties in my home, I have a feeling my house is much more fragrant when a candle is perfuming the air!

I never review things on Amazon, but I had to for this one. For anyone who want's a candle without the flowery overwhelming smell, this is for you.The Leather scent is amazing. It's warm, and really smells like Suede Leather. I've long stopped buying anything made with leather for personal reasons, so very nice to have this aroma in my home again.Straight Razor smells old school shaving lotion. Never thought about that, but for a bathroom, it's perfect.The Mahogany is a perfect compliment for either, if you're in a larger room.This is warm, fresh and a really unique alternative to the overly sweet candles on the market

So these candles came in the mail. My first impression was; these are a lot smaller than I was expecting. I went on the website, and the candles are exactly as advertised. So in no way I'm, I saying the advertising is wrong, but the candles are smaller than I expected.That said, the candles are not all that aromatic. The fragrance is pleasant, but not very strong. It does not fill the room much less my home with wonderful smells, but it does smell nice when I walk by it. I don't regret buying the candles, but I wouldn't recommend them or buy again.

They are lightly scented candles. I like strong scented candles. The lilac is nice. The plumeria is strong, and I like the Lily of the Field. It is nicely boxed. The jars are nice. You can't really re-use them as drinking glasses like their website says because they are jars with screw on lids. (Maybe they were talking aboutt the 11 ounce candles and not the 4 ounce candles) This is not my favorite candle set though. There are just too many other choices out there. This is just too lightly scented for me. :)

If you're looking for a an easy lighting, odorless burning ball of wax, this is for you. If, however, you are like me and are considering this because of it's scent - DO NOT BUY.I bought these three candles from Old Factory and then one from Decoware to use at my office and my house. The  Decoware Richly Scented Warm Tobacco Pipe 2-Wick Candle 14.82 Oz. In Glass  is great, fills up my whole house with a nice, tasteful scent. These Old Factory candles have no scent at all. I literally have them sitting right beside me on the desk in my office and I can't smell a thing. I thought maybe it was because I had just gradually gotten used to them as they burned, but no one else in the office can smell them either. Total waste. These three candles cost twice as much as the one from Decoware (even though the one from Decoware is bigger than all three of these combined) and they do nothing.Like I said, if you just want to melt some hot wax or watch a small flame burn on a wick, these candles will do the job (that's worth 1 star, right?). They lost out on the 4 other stars because I couldn't even tell you what they smell like, which I think is why most people would be considering these.

I ordered these candles for my mother as she told me she would not have a live tree this year for the holidays and would miss the smell. I wanted her to have beautiful holiday scents that would help her experience the joy of the season. She told me that the fragrances are wonderful...she loves the gingerbread. My sister who lives nearby said that she also found them extraordinary. I am very glad I chose these high quality very naturally scented candles.

They smell great, but I ordered them in the summer (for my brother's July birthday) and they were all wonky when I got them :(

Totally in love with the scents. Not overpowering but definitely gives a calming effect that leaves the room fresh and energetic.

i gave it 4 stars because they were quite a bit smaller than I expected, that being said they still fill the room with a present smell and the variety is nice too.
