1 - Zinc Anode with 10ft. Stainless Steel Cable for Boat Lifts

I bought 2 of these to hang from my boat lift to protect the metal underneath the water on the bulkhead. There is always electrolysis in the water and since i'm in a lagoon I wanted to make sure the mounts of the lift would not be attacked. The actual Zincs are smaller than I thought they would be but you really don't need a giant block for protection. It has been a month and this is what they look like(see pics). The cable is holding up fine and time will tell how long they last.

The two zinc's that I received weighed about 2lbs 11 oz and 2lbs 15 oz

It is a chunk of Zinc on a stainless-steel cable. It does its job.

Saw one of my boat lift zincs broke off. Ordered this and replacement was easy.

Purchased 2 for 1 year old boatlift as they were supplied with lift (3lb) and lasted for over a year. Purchased 2-5lb thinking they would last longer. While checking boatlift I noticed zinc cable blowing in wind (after 4 months), pulled cable up no zinc.Checked other one and the cable was barely attached to the backside and getting ready to come off. Seems they just press into the back of the zinc not through the middle. Have to order 2 new zincs (different company) to protect the boatlift from corrosion.

Will be attached to my dock to defer corrosion to my boatlift to the zincs. Great service.

Wish cable had an eye in it so it could firmly be screwed in
