Bulgarian Lavender Hand and Body Lotion - 8 fl oz

In this age of synthetic everything, more than once I have been met with "Eww!" from bystanders when I apply this lotion. Well, foolish souls, that which you are wrinkling your nose at is REAL LAVENDER, not some "Pomegranate-Blueberry crossed with Shea Nut Butter and Peppermint" (artificial, of course) concoction bought from the nearest dollar store. From me, you will reap no sympathy, no whit of understanding. For lavender is good, and real, and beneficial, a time-honored adjunct to the human skin care regime. Stop this nonsense! Chemicals are a wild card, and your skin is your body's largest organ! Now, down to product details:The take-up on the skin is immediate, leaving no greasy residue. The lavender scent settles down to become gently lingering. The plastic tube is admittedly bulky but so is my handbag, which is where it lives. I love this product and use it daily. The ingredients pass muster, so one can apply it lavishly and at will with no worries. So place your phony Banana-French Vanilla crossed with African Eggplant and Wild Buckwheat body care products in the trash can where they belong. The price is right, so buy this! You won't regret it (unless you hate the smell of lavender.)

Best ever- consistently rich, natural smelling and luxurious.

I have been using this for years. Besides a terrific and relaxing lavender scent, this lotion really works! It does not leave a greasy or oily feel; it absorbs well into the skin, and really does heal dry chapped skin quickly. It is great stuff! I have not checked up on all the ingredients for a while, but a quick glance at the current ingredients look pretty wholesome and safe. Do your own research. I highly recommend this product!

Great lotion. I use it before bed so I get softer, smoother skin and the relaxing fragrance of a field of Lavender.

I’ve been using the Desert Essence Bulgarian hand & body wash for years now, and loved its subtle fragrance and how it made my VERY sensitive skin feel. Now, the company changed the formula, and I can’t stand it. They took away some of the ingredients and added others that have way TOO much scent, plus it doesn’t feel the same. My asthma doesn’t react well with scented products, and the old formula was perfect for me. Now, it seems that I’ll just be using the body wash and trying to find another kind of lotion. Why can’t companies just leave products alone? :-(

I’ve been using this product for years. And I love it! It soaks into your skin without leaving an oily film. Nourishes your skin and feels wonderful. And it is one of the best natural products out there at a reasonable price.

Really nice lavender smell! My mother says it's strong at first then the smell lightens up after application. She bought it to scare the bugs away but we don't know if it'll work yet.

I have tried many lavender lotions but this is by far the closest scent to the lavender plant I have experienced. Leaves your skin soft and silky.
