Best bit about these are that they are small enough to make any shape (not just a square shed). But got in a muddle with the stupid clips (should have gone straight for cable ties, as waisted a couple if hours faffing with those clips). The size isn't what it says, more like a 7x6.5.But they do their job, as a sturdy base for our new plastic shed on uneven grass

I found it difficult to get exactly the right layout clipped together for my shed base, so I used them loose (they have a few hundred kg on top of them, they're not going anywhere). It makes shed base installation easier, and perhaps you could skimp on gravel a little, but you still have to put in the effort to get the ground basically level.

We bought this base for a 7 x 5 ft shed because it was eco friendly and had good reviews.It was laid by my cousin who said it was so easy and quick from start to finish. He used 10 mm pea shingle to stabilise it and it is so solid. He was very impressed and would highly recommend it. The base and shed project was completed in 6 hours when it was our turn to be impressed!

My drive is basically of the same construction. Egg box lattice filled with gravel. The lattice is easy to lay, can be maneuvered into place and then filled with gravel. With a weed membrane underneath a perfect shed base.

It does the jobHowever the retaining pegs are awkward and should be pointed to enable them to penetrate the membrane and soil beneath.

Good product but the clips were not. I discarded them in favour of heavy duty cable ties.

Easy system to use and lay. Wasn't any instructions in box but easy enough to get information from the internet.
