Difficult book to get in to.

This includes a superb lime pickle recipe (page 192).

I have had this book for quite a long time noe; several pages are loose and a few are stained with the red color of Tandoori Masala Powder. I wouldn't recommend anybody to rush out and buy this book unless you have a pretty extensive collection and are looking for another book for comparing recipes from multiple sources. There are no pictures and not much textual material beyond the recipes. The recipes are quite good though.

Bought this second hand copy as my original has been well used and splashed with ingredients as I cooked. The first book I found on Indian food years ago I have used continuously since although sone of the ingredients were sometimes hard to locate in the UK. Sadly it is no longer in print and a few so called new copies are offered at silly prices.The second hand copy I have just purchased was in very good condition. Mrs Singh has been toasted many times for her recipies which I have often used and repeated many times over the years.

Can't get most of the ingredients in the UK so cannot attempt most of the recipes. Quite disappointed on the whole.

This book is a Must have for every indian household and is a foolproof backup to refer to time and again.It's a reprinted version of the original which millions of people bank upon. Bought as gifts for all young married couples.
