VANGUARD VGUBG-1853BK Black Powdercoat Classic Bull Bar | Compatible with 15-22 Jeep Renegade

Just installed this bull bar on my 2017 Jeep Renegade Latitude. Very impressed on the high quality product as well as the super packaging in which it came. A+ all around. Well done Vanguard!

Very Nice

This was a gift and my FIL loves it.

The application process is easy and takes about 2 hours once you figure it out. The instructions page is confusing and uses a bad English translation that renders them useless. The brackets mount onto the frame (round parts of the frame). Why one star? It looks cool, but the bracket frames hang too low and scrapes easily on inclined driveways or hilly streets—very frustrating. Also, the entire bull bars are all aluminum and only the brackets are the better non-aluminum metal. That is, if you bump into anything the bull bars will bend like a tin can. I don’t think I can return them because shipping would cost what I paid for the product. . . . Disappointing. If you want practical bull bars, get the steel ones that mount on the front side of the renegade and not drop down under it, sacrificing the little clearance the renegade already has.

Fit perfect on my 2018 Jeep Renegade Latitude. Very happy. Brings the look together.

Looks bad ass

This bar looks good on jeep renegade but that is where it stops. Brackets are way to big and hang down and drag on everything, even at it's highest point..Brackets are not practical and you lose ground clearance. I drag just in and out of my driveway not the skid plate but the brackets. Most importantly the 3 " piping blocks your front collision sensor on The Jeep Renegade. Also it says 2.5" but it is 3" bar.. It looks good but I have to remove it and I am guessing stuck with it..DO NOT BUY FOR JEEP RENEGADE!!!!!Customer service was very friendly when I spoke with them about it being 3" . I decided to try it but then found it blocked my Sensors and drug on everything.
