Well constructed, easy to use, and catches used dirty patches protecting you from lead and other contaminates as you clean your firearms. Lifetime warranty is nice if needed.

It works. Beats having to pick patches up after cleaning

The device works as designed. It does catch patches and eliminate the mess and smell on the bench or table. At the range there's no worry of picking them up off the ground and the wind blowing the patches away. It is just molded plastic with a rubber strap to hold it in place. If you don't have a front sight, you have to run the rubber strap under the barrel and get it tight enough to hold. It works great if you don't ram the cleaning rod so far that it pushes against the bottom of the bottle. I like it for a gadget.

Pros: simple concept, easily adjustable, easy cleanup. Cons: tricky fit with some front sight posts like those on SKS Bought this to keep cleanup simple. Does exactly that! Keeps solvent brushes from spitting solutions all over the work bench and easily captures used patches. Simply toss the bottle when done! The adjustable strap works well for proper fit. However, the opening to allow the front sight to fit through isn't overly universal fit. I had to really work at getting it over my SKS front sight. Standard bolt action and other sporting rifles have worked out just fine! Definitely recommend for anyone who cleans a lot of firearms.

I got this expecting it to work on more than one of my .22's, but if you don't have a front sight on your gun, it won't stay in place. I expected it to line up on the foregrip of one of my guns, and the dimensions don't allow for any play or wiggle room. The first time I put a bottle on it was a "brand name soda bottle" and it turned 2.5 times, then split the molding. No backstop, or thread tapering off, it just split. No effort or exertion was applied. When I used a cheap "store brand water bottle" of very thin plastic, the shallow threading on the bottle prevented it from this problem. Otherwise, it fits loosely, and collects patches and CLP just fine. A piece of electrical tape would take less time, and be an even better fit, without all the dimension constraints. I've seen people ask about using this for "other purposes" related to sound. Pretty much zero chance this would help you in that arena.

Product makes cleaning the muzzle much easier. Would buy this product again. This is a must have for black powered rifles
