JacobsEspresso Whole Bean Coffee 1000 Gram / 35.2 Ounce (Pack of 1)

This coffee is the real deal it’s not as bitter as the American coffee. I buy the 2.2 lbs of Expresso and the Crema. I mix the two 50/50 and then grind. It’s simply the best cup every morning for a fraction of the cost and twice the taste. But a small Phillips /Saeco machine. I get about 20,000 cups with maintenance. About 10x less cost per cup when you do the math. Jacobs is the Best!

I would guess this espresso is at least 60% robusta beans. If you like that deep, chocolatey flavor, then you're in luck! it really comes out with the moka pot. In the French Press, some of the fruitier notes come out from however much arabica is present. Over all, fantastic coffee!

A terrific coffee. Strong, rich and a particular flavor that is all Amsterdam.

The quality of the beans and the level of roasting is simply outstanding. Unfortunately, it is a very strong coffee, somewhat peculiar in terms of flavor, and I couldn’t find a way to incorporate it in my daily routine.

I have tried many premium espressos and have a top quality prosumer machine. I cannot recommend this espresso coffee. The problem is not with its taste but rather with the unsettling jolt it gives to my nervous system when consumed. This is not normal, even with dark roasted espresso beans.

I used to live in Germany, and this was the coffee I drank every day. When I returned to the US, I tried many different brands and could never find anything I liked as much. I have family still in Germany and they used to send me a few of these for Christmas every year. Now that Amazon has it, I have a subscription setup so I'm never out. Best coffee ever!

American "Espresso roasts" are very dark. This one is on the dark side of medium. All cocoa in taste and aroma. The Kilo bag was a great buy. My new "base" coffee.
