Melissa & Doug Classic ABC Wooden Block Cart Educational Toy with 30 1-Inch Solid Wood Blocks, Multicolor

I got these blocks because I wanted a simple easily stackable block to teach my one year old the concept of stacking. Also this is a classic toy that brings me back to my childhood. After initially purchasing them I wished that I had gotten a version of this with larger blocks that I saw at Walmart because they are a little small making them less stable and harder for a young child to stack. However, I got these out again the other day and my now 16 month old played with these nonstop for a good 45 min. She is now able to stack a few of them on her own and a block fits perfectly in one of her little hands. She also enjoyed putting them in and taking them out of the container which I will say is nice for storage. And of course it also entertained her as a pull toy. We have yet to fully explore the letters and pictures on them but that is a great educational tool as well. Overall I would definitely say it is worth the purchase but if you are buying for a young toddler I would maybe think about a larger version. Please mark if you found my review helpful. Thanks!

My 2 y/o grandson loved these blocks! I'm happy to give him sturdy toys made of wood, not plastic. These will last.

This is the perfect little block set. I’ve spent hours stacking & building with my little granddaughter. I got this for her when she was six months old. They do not pose a choking hazard in my opinion. They are a good size. Just to be sure, I even tried to put one in MY mouth, and it’s too big. She is now one year old and still plays with them every day. I’ll be buying another set for my newest granddaughter. Very giftable. Wonderful little product. I am always pleased with Melissa and Doug.

Used these for a baby shower activity. Very cute on table with markers. 3 sides are not colored in. Much cheaper then buying the “coloring shower blocks” plus has wagon!

Small cubes. More appropriate for 6 months-2 years. It is nice but too small.

I love this block set. I originally got one for my daughter when she was 2. She loved it and played with it all the time. It made it fun to learn the alphabet, balance, and building along with some hilarious knockdowns with many "oh nooooo hahaha" and memories. You can also take their loveies and little friends for walks and races with the little box wagon. Then as they age they'll try to ride it themselves haha Truly a fun and timeless toy. This was 8 years ago and I'm glad to see it's still around. I had to buy one for my niece and another for my daughter. It was her favorite toy and we lost it in a house fire when she was 5. I thought it would be a nice surprise and something to bring back memories and hold onto for her littles if she chooses or herself on display. I was right. She cried. I cried. She's almost 11 now and she ripped it open and played on the floor and took her lovies on a ride just like the old days. It now sits on a shelf with her favorite lovies and a little tower on the side to see everyday. Thank you Melissa and Doug for years of memories and for still making this product. It truly made my daughters day and my heart full.

El diseño del juguete es bonito, pero los materiales y los acabados son pésimos. Ejemplos: 1.- Los cubos están hechos de madera y pintados, lo que los convierte en no aptos para bebés o niños que puedan llevárselos a la boca. 2.- Las esquinas de los cubos vienen bastante deterioradas, con el esmalte o pintura desconchados. No lo recomiendo nada más que como juguete decorativo, y tal vez ni eso.

much smaller than it looks, would be concerned toddler would swallow blocks. Will be returning them. Do not buy
