Solid piece, does what it reports that it does.
I prefer the Mantis mounted on my frame, but also love using the holster draw so this was the best option. I swapped out my base plate with this and the Mantis attaches as expected. For reference, I have also used the glue on rail with this being my preferred option. Even when using the gorilla glue in addition.

Great addition - especially if you get the x10
I had an original MantisX and just left it mount all the time on an under rail - worked like a charm. Upgrading to the x10 meant that I now had the capability to use the Mantis to do holster draw analysis though. Most of my holsters used in competition do not have the space for a light mount (which the Mantis would fit in) though so I picked up one of these mag base plates. This allows the holster draw analysis of the x10 to work perfectly when drawing from various holsters I use and I can get a good shot reading. Downside is that if you are doing livefire, it means you are loading the same mag over and over - but it is worth it for the analysis. The pad itself fit perfectly on a double stack mag and is a good solid fit - no play at all with the Mantis mounted. Highly recommend this product to compliment your Mantis and especially if you are going to be using the x10 to the full extent.

Works fine
Edit 1/27/01: It turns out that I am an idiot. There is a setting in the phone app to increase the sensitivity when using a DryFireMag. With that setting now made PROPERLY, this works fine. Revising to 5 stars 1) because it works and 2) because their superior support group solved my issue promptly. Original Review: Seemed like a great idea for my Glock 19. The Mantis X3 does not fit the Glock front rail without an adapter and I wanted to avoid using an adapter as I have other Glock stuff that ties to that rail. So this seemed like a great idea. Glue it to the bottom of a DryFireMag and dry-fire away. Except that the Mantis X fails to register about half of the dry fire shots. So my recommendation is to avoid this thing and use an adapter and put up with the aggravation. I used the Recover Tactical OR19 also available here on Amazon. That works. I read some of the reviews that blamed it on the rubber tape. That might be it. Maybe not. If I wasn't so lazy, I would try epoxying this to a baseplate. But that takes work - probably more work that mounting and unmounting an adapter a hundred times. TLDR: Mantis X works on Glock using adapter. With this, not so much.

Great price - functions as described
Functions as described. Bolt included that will screw into the bottom of the magazine - or you can use the adhesive without the bolt. You can't beat the price - compared with other similar items that Mantis offers.
