These were my favorites of the busy books I ordered for travel. They are creative and fun. Kept my little one happy and busy.

These are pricey but very well-made. I bought both this one and “My Busy Day” at the same time, but they come with a 15% off coupon for a future purchase so I wish I had waited to buy the second one.While the recommended age is 3+, I bought this for my 15-month-old, thinking he would grow into it and could at least do the Velcro things for now. He loves these and begs to get them down whenever he notices them, but he is definitely a bit too young. The Velcro is quite strong and the pockets are tight (both good things in a product like this so pieces don’t get lost!) so you tend to need two hands and he just doesn’t have the dexterity for it yet. That said, he loves to try, and he points to things and has me do them for him. He’s already getting better at several of the skills needed, so it’s good fine-motor practice (although I’m honestly surprised he doesn’t get more frustrated by it.) So, it’s not the solo entertainment I had hoped quite yet, but he loves them and I believe will continue to love them. I also have to check the whole book every time I put it away to make sure the pieces made it back to their spots, which is a little cumbersome for now. A note on the pieces and little ones - if you have a little who constantly puts things in his/her mouth, consider waiting. Mine listens well and hasn’t had the urge to put these anywhere near his mouth (probably because the parts that come out are just felt so nothing to gum) but it could certainly be a choking hazard if you’ve got a little gummer. I also have a particularly attentive little, but a more age-appropriate busy book for his age would probably have more to do on each page.We bought these for a flight because every toy we use on long car trips makes noise and we didn’t want to be murdered by our seat mates, and I think they will be great for that... as long as we can keep track of the pieces. We’ve already used them on a three-hour car trip that turned into a seven-hour car trip (thanks, blizzard) and they definitely saved us from meltdown territory. We did temporarily lose a piece that went over the side of the car seat. Since there is Velcro on the back of a lot of pieces, they’ll find creative spots to stick themselves in a car interior. :-|

I have purchased this brand before and my book has held up for years! I love that it is machine washable. I gave this one as a gift and the mother and toddler loved it. The pages are so creative and fun for situations where you need a quiet toy to play with. This is my new shower gift for everyone!

Absolutely love this book and this company. This book has saved us on long car rides and in restaurants so many times.The quality is very nice and well worth the price. We actually like it so much we have both quiet books (“when I grow up” and “my big day”)My daughter initially wasn’t super into it when she was around 2 years old but now she’s 3 and it keeps her occupied for quite a while! She even chooses it over watching Daniel Tiger in the car (we only let her have screen time on long car rides so the fact that she picks this over screen time is amazing!) I can see it lasting a long time and her continuing to be interested in it since she likes it so much and still isn’t able to do some of the activities in it (buttons, lacing) Once she learns those things it will continue to keep her occupied in the future.We actually lost a couple pieces to it and the company was very quick to respond and is sending some parts. What I didn’t know was that they now sell the spare parts for each book on Amazon as well so I don’t have to worry about it in the future.These would be a very unique present for birthdays or holidays too!

The media could not be loaded. Feels VERY high quality. I only took off a star because some of the pages felt kind of boring. Really cute though. I love that it zips all the way closed so the pieces don’t fall everywhere

We bought this for our first international trip (18m) and he still likes playing with it (2.5year). It’s perfect airplane toy without screen time and out of all the small toys we brought, he definitely played with this the longest. I would also narrate as we are going through the busy book on what steps we’ll be going through for our upcoming trip (pack bag, drive to airport, going through security, wearing seat belt on the plane, etc). I also used the tent on the last page to store some small cars!

Curious Columbus busy books are great many things to do to keep kids quiet and developing skills like colors, fine motor, dexterity even time. My older daughter teaches my younger daughter with thr book and loves to do it. These also hold up well. You just have to make sure those little ones put back all the pieces and zip it up. That is a nice touch so that you don't loose those fun parts.

My son had this book, so when my cousin had a baby I had to get it for him as well. Quiet book that keeps them busy! Love for church or any places that require silence.

These books are just wonderful. They are made of excellent quality material and look really good. The children will sit for hours, on long journeys, lost in the fun of the books. They are excellent for improving fine motor skills and showing children how to learn, to tie bows etc. No more bored children moaning on long journeys. An excellent purchase and well worth the cost. Perfect.

I absolutely love this quiet busy book, it’s brilliant. I really love all the different jobs that are contained within it, it shows such variety and offers lots of lovely talking points. The different activities are all really well thought out and are great for encouraging find motor skills and manual dexterity. My little boy is already enjoying it at 2 and a half and whilst he can’t manage all parts yet I think that’s good and leaves things to show him and practice as he develops future.

Bought for my 2 year old for Christmas and it really occupies him when I'm trying to sort out baby. The attention to detail is superb. All the pieces are beautifully stitched together and the colours are really attractive. I love the story it conveys from the start of the day when you get up, brush your teeth, then get dressed, eat , do chores etc. Would thoroughly recommend and I thought for the excellent quality it was worth the money.
