I am glad I ignored the negative reviews on this product, and decided to purchase it. My room mate and I have really enjoyed having this and we use it as a coffee bar/ pantry. It says you need two people to assemble it, but I was able to assemble this all on my own (although another person would have been helpful) and the only thing I needed was a screwdriver (assembly manual advises against use of power tools). It looks very nice and for the price it is a great deal. It does have flimsy back paneling (it is meant to go against a wall) but overall it seems very sturdy. If you want something to go in the middle of your kitchen, this is not for you. If you want something super fancy, then, you're going to have to look into more expensive products.

I am so happy with this kitchen island! Assembly was a huge pain the butt, though. Many things were not aligned properly, so I had to drill lots of new holes to get the thing set up. Excluding the two back panels, the island is made up of very sturdy, solid pieces. The two back panels are flimsy boards, though, and they're a bit of an eye sore. This item should be kept against a wall. Since I got it as an island and do not want it against a wall, I'm going to have to come up with a way to cover the back panels. All in all, though, I'm very happy with it! The cupboards and drawers are very spacious and, besides the back, it looks great and feels very sturdy!

This cabinet is a colossal waste of money, don't buy it! 6 months in use and it is totally falling apart. The pins that hold up the shelves don't fit. Drawers are broken and not fitting in the tracks. The bottom of the other drawer is falling out. The doors will NOT stay closed. What else can I say? It was good at first, but soon after the date where I could send it back, it started showing it's TRUE colors. It is not easy to assemble and definitely not sturdy. I have pictures, but the app is not working right now.

I've had this thing for YEARSSS, didn't realize I never reviewed it. I use it daily and it pretty much still like the first day I set it up! No issues whatsoever. Love it! Great storage and to keep it nice even though it has the wooden top I still use cutting boards. Top cleans easily but like I said, I don't chop anything on it. But I use it for food prep and when things have spilled on it, it cleans easily.

I ordered this kitchen island for my elderly family members and thought it seemed like a quality item for the price. I couldn't have been more wrong. The assembly was actually fairly straightforward, simple, and not many problems there until we realized it was missing ONE small piece. Mind you this missing piece would be of no value to anyone unless they had this cabinet. After much back and forth with the seller they still have NOT sent the replacement part and provided nothing but terrible customer service. Now, unrelated to the missing piece the cabinet is simply starting to fall apart in less than a month. I thought the other islands on Amazon seemed a bit expensive but now I learned my lesson, you get what you pay for. I typically rely heavily on Amazon reviews and am frankly a little surprised this product had so many positive ratings. Missing piece and awful customer service aside, the craftsmanship and quality of this product is simply garbage for the price. Save yourself the headache and loss of $240. Avoid this seller at all cost. I am currently corresponding with them in an attempt to coordinate a return.

Just put it together. I really do love it. The only issue was a couple of the Phillip screw heads didn’t get punched out, but thats a factor issue. I had some here that worked. Was a little shaky in the beginning but once the back and top was on it was pretty solid. The directions were pretty simple to follow. If your looking for a cart it’s a nice one for the price. I’m well satisfied.

I love this island. The only issue is it took over 3 plus hours to assemble. We did assemble it without the extra help they kept emailing me if I wanted after purchase. There was a lot of swearing involved, and many times we had to unassemble a piece to try again. If you aren't savvy when it comes to figuring out how to put stuff together, this isn't the product for you. We didn't want some weirdo coming to my son's apartment just to put this together, so we braved it and finished it. When you purchase this, they try and sell you the instructions or the option of having someone come and assemble it for an outrageous price of over $100. This is a great product for the limited use we need it for; temporary for an apartment for my son while he's at school. It has adequate storage, the finish is nice, and looks like the picture.

As Described- Looks nice, not real sturdy. I added wood glue to all seams & drawers since thin particle board and would never hold up to daily use. One of the drawer handles had crooked pre-drilled screw holes, so handle is crooked. Considering the low cost- it is fine.
