This is the only hair fiber product I've found that actually has a shade that matches my hair. Others were too dark or light, or the wrong tone. I have cooler toned brown hair. I love that it looks pretty natural (if I apply it well) and it makes me feel more confident since I have been experiencing hair loss for some time now. I come do small sections at a time with a comb, and use a small plastic shield to keep the product (mostly) off my face. If it does get on my face, it's easy to wipe away with a dry cotton round. The hairline can be a little tricky to try to look natural, and some days it looks better than others. I set with hair spray and then comb my hair out once it's dried, and the fibers stay in place for me. I find that this also functions somewhat as a dry shampoo and keeps my hair from getting as greasy. I wake up with day 2 hair much cleaner than when I don't wear use the hair fibers, but still a little greasy just because I have a very oily scalp. If I want to do 2 days without washing my hair, I carefully add some dry shampoo before going to bed, and then restyle in the morning. The fibers still look pretty good on day 2, sometimes needing a little touch up, but not always. I've included a picture of my hair on day 2 after restyling, with minimal touch up of the fibers. I do with there was a precision tip sprayer of some kind for this or something else that would help target the fibers, because it does feel like there are fibers wasted using the shaker. I've tried to use sprayer tops from other hair fiber products I've tried and they either didn't fit or the fibers did not come out.

This product helps to conceal thinning hair. It doesn't "give you hair" so to speak, but it does work to fill in those spots that are thinning where it's easier to see the scalp. Dusting some of this on those spots makes them look more filled in, and makes me feel a little less self conscious. My only complaint may not be a problem of the product, but my own personal sensitivity. It can be a tad itchy when first applied. I've read other reviews where this seems to happen sometimes with keratin fibers like this. I've also had a few fibers fall onto my face and near my eyes right after application, and when I'm wearing contact lenses, the skin on my eyelids can also become itchy. This isn't constant though. My skin can sometimes over react to products that other people can use with no problem. I just bring this up if you also have skin that over reacts, and for the developers to possibly look at what ingredient(s) may be causing the sensitivity. That's also the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I ordered the dark brown because I really wanted to try this particular brand....but medium or light brown shades weren't available at that time. The medium brown would be a better fit, but this still worked and helped conceal thinning areas. The product does what it is supposed to do. And though a little messy when applied, it does stay put until you next shampoo.

Between genetics, my underactive thyroid, and postpartum hair loss, my hair is a hot mess. I had stopped wearing my hair up because it ended up being more work for me and take more time for me to put it up and try to strategically move all of my hair to cover my thin/bald spots on the sides of my head. Ever since covid however, and being in healthcare, I have started wearing my hair up again. I was constantly frustrated spending so much time on my hair, and reminded of just how bad the thinning is. I have used a spray on color before, but I didn’t like the way it made my hair feel. I also usually only wash my hair every other day, and with that color spray, I was needing to wash it every day. I gave up on the spray. I was really excited to find this hair fiber product on Amazon though! I always look at reviews, and I was happy to see all of the good ones on this product, and also the amazing results in the pictures people were posting. I decided to give it a shot, and it has been a game changer! The color somehow matches perfectly. It completely covers my bald/thin spots and looks natural. I can easily wipe it off and redo it if I need to. Doesn’t leave a weird residue or texture on my hair. I have received several compliments from my coworkers. I am so excited to have found this product and have gained back some self-confidence!

I've lost my hair twice to illness, and the crown came back at maybe a 1/4 density, on top of having very fine hair. This is the only product I've found that made it so I could style my hair without scalp showing, amd without using a lot of heat & product. The first one I ordered was medium brown. The fibers worked perfectly, you could not tell they were there. They thickened, and they covered. However, the medium brown was too light, and I needed a couple shades darker. So this time I ordered the dark brown, it is straight up black, and it clumps together like crazy. I can't put it on my scalp at all, it literally looks like my mascara. It's that dark. And because it's so clumpy, it doesn't cling to the hair properly, and just sticks to the scalp and ends up looking all splotchy and spotty. I am going to try one more, because the first bottle worked so well. I've been recommending it to people like crazy, so to receive a bottle that is so awful is concerning.
