Solid Stand - No wobble
I now have 2 Fluval Flex 15s and a Flex 32.5. I didn't like the 32.5 stand made by Fluval and so put that tank on a standard 40 gallon stand and it worked great. But I've had my 2 Flex 15 tanks taking up considerable space on a bar top. While it puts the fish at an eye level when standing, its difficult to see into these tanks when sitting. And I got tired of always having to stand up to see them good. So I ordered one white and one black (matches tanks I have) Fluval Flex 15 gallon stands to set near to each side of my couch. The bottom of the tank is now about 6 inches above the arms of the couch and so the tank contents are much more visible when seated on the couch. The stand is 29" tall. This white one arrived first and I noticed the box was really badly torn and scratched up. Could see the wood inside. Be careful when cutting open the box with a box knife as the wood surface sits right under the cardboard box top and could be damaged if you let the knife go deep. The factory packing and protection just isn't very good to be shipped in. But luckily, no harm was done to the wood inside this time. The white finish was perfect and undamaged. The black one I received a few days later had the Fluval box inside an Amz box so it faired better.Assembling it was a bit odd as there were only picture instructions and several parts have to be turned only one way to mount them properly. I'd advise to thoroughly look at the instruction sheet before you start to build it. Be sure you are getting the predrilled holes lined up properly. Because of the unusual shape of this stand, you'll be able to tell right away what wood pieces fit with other's sides. You might have to turn the unit assembly over a time or two while screwing down the parts as having it in the position in the instructions just doesn't work well, especially if you use their Z-shaped hex driver. If you can, use your own phillips screwdriver and hex driver as the little Z-shaped hex driver they include is very tedious to use. Those 2 tools are all you'll need to build this as all but one hole is predrilled. When you look at the weird shape of the stand, you wonder if it will tip over, but this stand is very sturdy after assembly. You'd really have to try hard to get it to fall over and once the Fluval Flex 15 is placed on top with water and accessories, it becomes even more stable. If you can, use the rubberized place mat included with the tank to be sure it sits flat and to protect the bottom glass. The tank's 15 gallon Fluval Flex bottom is almost exactly the size of the stand top so be sure it's completely on the stand. There's no room on this stand top besides where the tank bottom will rest.In addition to the top tank shelf, you do get one small central shelf and a larger base shelf to store your stuff on. If you want to hide what's inside, you'll need to hang a small curtain as there are no doors you can close. I mounted a small towel rack to the lower half and then hang a full size towel on it to both serve as a towel to clean up the area and as a curtain to hide the contents of the lower shelf. Plus it's then easily removable for cleaning. If you want to run air or liquid or electric lines inside the stand, you'll need to cut your own holes in the back. It's particle board wood so it's not hard to cut or drill through. Just be sure you aren't compromising the support if you make your own holes.I'm very happy with the unusual shaped design and sturdiness of this stand. And if you ever decide to not use your Flex 15 tank any more, this stand can serve as a lamp or book stand or end table. My white Fluval Flex 15 looks great on this stand and it makes the fish much more visible when seated. It also puts the height at a good level for doing maintenance and cleaning.

Exactly what I needed
I was ready to get my flex 15 off my nightstand and this is the perfect stand for it. It came quickly and in good shape. It was easy to put together and is sturdy.

Nice looking
The stand looks nice and is perfect for a Fluval 9 or 15-gallon tank. The down thing is that it is made of cheap wood and arrived with some chips in the corners, so it is a little pricey for this quality

Not a good value, Does not come with levelling feet.
This is meant to be the stand for the Fluval Flex 15G and aquariums are supposed to be placed on a level surface but this unit does not have feet that level the stand so if your floor is is not perfectly flat, there is no easy way to level. Also, as my other buyers have complained. some of the wood panels are little chipped. Mind was not bad enough to warrant the hassle of returning it but at $130, it would be nice to receive it in better condition.

Nice stand but arrived damaged
Of course its the 15 gallon Fluval tank perfectly. It was easy to assemble and is sturdy even once all water, decorations, and fish were added. The shipping box was damaged and thus so was the stand. It is a shame because it is a bit expensive. Too much of a hassle to return, and I figure same thing is likely to occur next time. Shipping materials added for protection need to be reworked.
