Vegan Dental Floss Refill by TEVRA – Vegan Floss Refills with Refreshing Mint and Ginger Flavour – Contains 2x30m Refills

On the quest to cut down on plastic and not wanting to give up on flossing, this looked like a great idea. I actually love it. The refill pack is a second time purchase and I'll keep getting it. The glass container is cute, environmentally friendly and does the job well. The floss is great - strong, taste is minimal but refreshingly minty with a hint if ginger, and it also does the job really well. It's good value, too. We love it at our house.

It took a little bit of getting used to, but now I prefer this floss over "normal". It feels like it works better. The only slight problem is that it breaks a bit easier if you have sharp edges/broken teeth, or if something is really stuck between them. I tie mine in a loop to make it easier to hold on to, and that way you can use the whole piece and waste less so it doesn't get too expensive.

I hated the idea of all of the meters of floss I was using ending up in tangles in landfill to remain on the earth for centuries, but my dentist kept insisting that flossing was the only way I was going to save my teeth. This floss is great: it's degradable, comes in minimal packaging (with no plastic in sight) and doesn't contain silk so it's also vegan. The only qualm I have is that it breaks slightly more easily than regular floss, but the benefits by far outweigh this.

Got tired of using dental floss with plastic packaging and decided to give this a go. It is a great alternative. I've been using it for about 3 years now with the same container and keep getting the refills. No overpowering taste and can tear occasionally but a great alternative and easy to get used to.

Love thus product. Originally bought one reel with the glass container & have just purchased this refill. It’s a lovely floss, quite thick so really cleans out the gaps well. Can’t say I really notice any flavour but that doesn’t bother me at all. Love love love that it’s vegan & such minimal waste. No plastic involved. Big thumbs up.

Great product, easy to use, gets in between teeth perfectly, does what it's meant to do and tastes good too. Really good value for money too.

Ok product but shears off easily and this easy to damage your gums as very thick and you need to exert more pressure

Love the idea and the packaging. Absurdly awful to use. I’ve never struggled to floss. This is so thick I can hardly get it between my teeth. If it doesn’t snap as I put it through, it snaps on the way out. It shreds and leaves tufts between my teeth which I have to pull out with tweezers, but I can still feel some left behind. It’s awful. I’ve used other eco brands, and wanted this to work as it’s not made of silk (I don’t really like the production method of silk). But it doesn’t and I’m off to find an alternative.

It took me a little time to work out how to use this; it's a bit more fragile than regular floss. I love using natural products and am making an effort to reduce plastic usage. This floss works great for me and I love that I can buy refills for the glass container. Two thumbs up!

Ich bin mit dieser Zahnseide sehr zufrieden! Sie funktioniert einwandfrei und reißt z.B. nicht an engen Zahnzwischenräumen ab. Da sie gar nicht so schnell aufgebraucht wird, ist auch der etwas höhere Preis gut zu verkraften. Schließlich unterstützt man mit dem Geld ein zukunftsorientiertes Produkt.

This floss is just ok. I liked the feel between my teeth, it had a little slip to it! But it did break a lot and sometimes broke between my teeth and got stuck... It did get my teeth cleaner than traditional floss. But after 1 spool was used up I went back to my favorite bamboo floss.

Pratique mais surtout ecologique et biodegradable ! Adieu les fils dentaires avec PFC cachés ! Le fil dentaire glisse entre les dents de manière un peu plus raide que les fils dentaires cirés vendus dans le commerce. Mais tout à fait acceptable malgré tout.

I liked this floss more than the silk floss. It is just a bit thicker than silk floss, which I found better for my teeth. Some people have mentioned the silk floss or this corn based one breaking sometimes, but I haven’t run into that. I really like the ability to buy refills for the glass container, no plastics! Two roles of this come wrapped and in a small paper cardboard box.
