Good charger
This is my second one for iPhone 8. First one worked well and still working. I do like shape of the first one as it is square and easy to put phone on. The second is round, only have to make sure the blue light is on. Would recommend

Good charger...but...
Good wireless charger, not sure it charges any faster than any of the other wireless chargers I have bought over the years. But, there are two main differences with this wireless charger then the rest. It comes with a special charger and a special USB cable without either of those the charging pad is useless. Plug the pad into a battery (which I have done with other brands) and the pads power light just blinks and doesn't charge the phone. Forget the cable at home while on a trip, don't bother trying any other cable they will not work, again you get the blinking power light. If you have all the parts then yes its a good charger finds the phone quickly and does charge the phone.

Sweet charger well worth the price
There are a lot of wireless chargers out there for a lot cheaper than this one, However, this one is well worth the extra money. You not only get the charging pad itself but also Anker's high quality fastcharge 3 adapter and a high quality cord to connect the two. I have a case on my phone with a card holder stuck to the back with a card in it and this wireless charger charges straight through it. With half a centimeter of space available between the top of the charger and the back of the phone there's no case this charger can't charge through (unless of course it's metal). Additionally this charger features a whisper silent fan inside the charging pad to cool the coils to guarantee greater and more consistent power delivery and longevity.

PowerWave 7.5 Pad: A Comedy of Charging Errors
Prepare yourself for an electrifying adventure of epic disappointment with the Anker PowerWave 7.5 Pad, the wireless charger that promises the moon but delivers little more than a flickering nightlight. With its grandiose claims and tragically flawed performance, this charger is more of a cruel joke than a technological marvel. Buckle up for a hilariously bad review of the PowerWave 7.5 Pad, where charging dreams go to die.Snail-Paced Charging: 7.5W of Pure FrustrationIf you’re looking to test the limits of your patience, the PowerWave 7.5 Pad is your ultimate companion. Advertised as delivering a robust 7.5 watts of power, it somehow manages to charge your iPhone slower than a sloth on a lazy Sunday. Forget about quick top-ups; you’ll be waiting long enough to binge-watch an entire TV series before your phone reaches 50%.The Cooling Fan That Couldn’tAh, the much-touted internal cooling fan – a feature that promises to keep your charger and device cool and breezy. In reality, this fan is about as effective as blowing on a campfire to put it out. It sputters and whirs, producing more noise than cooling power, turning your serene charging experience into a miniature wind tunnel experiment. And the best part? Your phone still heats up like it’s on a tropical vacation.Wireless Charging WoesImagine the joy of cutting the cord, only to replace it with the frustration of finding the perfect alignment spot for your device. The PowerWave 7.5 Pad demands surgical precision to start charging. Place your phone even slightly off-center, and you’re greeted with the dreaded blinking light of failure. It’s like playing a game of “pin the charger on the iPhone,” except there are no winners here.Sleek Design, Slippery PerformanceSure, the PowerWave 7.5 Pad looks sleek and modern – until you actually try to use it. Its smooth, non-slip surface seems more like an ice rink for your phone. Watch in dismay as your iPhone slowly slides off the pad, aborting the already glacial charging process. It’s the perfect combination of style and impracticality.Universal IncompatibilityWhile it claims to offer universal compatibility with all Qi-enabled devices, the PowerWave 7.5 Pad seems to be exceptionally choosy. Some devices charge, others don’t, and there’s no rhyme or reason to its whims. It’s like a game of roulette, where your odds of actually getting a charge are frustratingly low.Safety Features That Make You Laugh (and Cry)Anker boasts about the advanced safety features of the PowerWave 7.5 Pad. In practice, these features are about as reliable as a chocolate teapot. Over-voltage protection? Sure, if you don’t mind your phone occasionally flashing warnings like a disco light. Temperature control? More like temperature roulette – will it be warm, hot, or lava today? Conclusion: A Comedy of Charging ErrorsThe Anker PowerWave 7.5 Pad is not just a wireless charger; it’s a testament to how things can go hilariously wrong in the world of technology. With its laughably slow charging speeds, ineffective cooling fan, slippery design, and temperamental performance, it offers an epic journey of frustration and folly. If you enjoy long waits, noisy fans, and the thrill of inconsistent charging, then the PowerWave 7.5 Pad is your dream come true. For everyone else, steer clear and save yourself the comedy of errors. In the grand theater of wireless charging, the Anker PowerWave 7.5 Pad is the tragicomedy no one asked for but will never forget.

Great product!
This product from Anker works very well with my XS Max. I had a wireless charger from one of the phone companies and I use an OtterBox case on my phone and it needs to be on a sweet spot and also takes just a little bit to start charging however this fast wireless charger starts charging immediately after placing my phone on it and it does charge fast, I didn’t say anything about material quality or durability because I have just purchased this and have used it one day so those two areas on the survey I will have to wait to see how things go with that but for now I would recommend this to anybody.

Best one I’ve tried
I’ve had a couple wireless chargers before this one. Both of them broke within a couple months and took way too long to charge my phone. I bought this wireless charger hoping for a change due to the anker brand generally satisfying me with their products, and boy was I happy to be right. Charges my phone nice and quick, as well as my AirPods. I love the convenience of just laying down my phone and coming back to a full battery. There is occasionally the issue of finding the charge point when laying a device on top of the charger, but once you get used to it, it’s hard to miss.
