Maria Nila Colour Refresh, 10.1 Fl Oz, Hair Mask, Semi-Permanent Pigments, 100% Vegan & Sulfate/Paraben free

I colored my hair for the first time in over 15 years, usually my go to is a dark auburn, I like reds for my skin tone. I tried a new color, all natural, recommended by a friend and the color was supposed to be dark red. It turned my hair a horrible copper penny color, very light and harsh. I did not want to re-dye and through research found this product, read every single review and ordered. I got the cacao intense as I needed to darken but hopefully keep the red tones. My hair is short, very fine and thin so it didn't take much product. I was nervous about how dark it would be so I diluted with some water, put on damp hair, applied with a toothbrush which worked really well and once saturated combed through. I didn't want to leave on too long, the directions said 3-7 minutes so I did approx. 4, rinsed and conditioned. The results were amazing. I wanted it a bit darker, still had a bit of copper shine so I reapplied but this time did not dilute and I kept is on longer, maybe 5-7 min. I am so amazed by how well this worked. The color came out so good, exactly as I wanted and my hair is super soft. I used Carols Daughter Goddess strength fortifying conditioner after rinsing and my hair looks and feels amazing. I saw many comments in the reviews that said it stained the tub or sink and to be sure to wear gloves but using the toothbrush and comb I didn't need gloves and if any color got in the sink while applying I rinsed right then and no problems at all. The tub is fine as well. I would say do first application on the cautious side, diluted and for a short period and see how it looks as you can reapply if it's not there yet. So happy I found this. In regards to some saying it's expensive, it's really not. The tub will last for many applications especially if you have shorter fine hair like mine. So totally worth it and it saved the day.

Absolutely love this product, I had copper red hair for about 2 years. It can be pretty hard to maintain as red fades pretty easily. My hair dresser recommended this product though and it was a life saver not only did it keep my color fresh but left my hair super soft! I highly recommend also make sure to use gloves while using, it will stain your hands! Currently, transitioning back to my natural dark brown and will be trying out the cacoa intense between glosses while my natural hair grows back in!

I have dirty blonde hair that has been highlighted bright blonde for years. Recently I dyed my hair from cool blond to very warm strawberry blonde (redhead) at the salon. I bought the bright copper color to keep my color looking fresh between salon visits. I mixed the bright copper product 50/50 with the white mix and left it on for 7–10 min. The result is a TRUE saturated copper which leans a bit orange on the parts of my hair that were brightly highlighted from the salon. I think the product worked well as far as color deposit, but you may need to consider mixing it with some violet and brown tones to edge away from looking too unnaturally orange, especially on hair that has been previously highlighted.

I had been dying my hair blonde for years, and then decided to go back brown. I struggled with salon results lasting and didn’t want to mess with box dyes. Then I discovered this product! Works very well for me. I like both cacao and cacao intense. It lasts 2 weeks after one application, and then after using it a few times the results last more like 4 weeks after a single application. I’d recommend the pump bottle, as the jar can dye your hands and nails when applying. I only leave it in 3-5 minutes in the shower. It makes my hair so shiny and glossy after, and covers my blonde ends so that I have an all over rich brown color!

I loved the autumn red. It was perfect for the few partial highlights i had and gave the hair a nice red tint. I would use once or twice a month to up keep. Had a nice slow fade to it after multiple washes. After having a great experience with the red, I tried the cocoa intense and was left unfortunately disappointed. It would do a lightly dark tint on my hair but fade after a single wash. Wish it was darker and more intense in color like the red.

By far the best toning product I have ever used. I died my own hair and it was bright neon yellow-I was in a panic after wearing a beanie an entire day to hide my hair. I ordered cool cream for my hair and left it on for 4 minutes and the results are amazing. My hair looks like I just left the salon and it smells amazing. When I say my hair was so bright and yellow I mean it. I plan on doing it a little longer next time so it tones it down even more. You can also still see my highlights.

Tried other brands, but keep going to this one. My hair is blond going grey. And Maria Nila offers the most complimentary shades for me. After use it leaves my hair soft and shiny.

Waste of money, returned. Doesn't do anything even after leaving on for 30+ minutes with more than enough product

Excellent copper colour! Instructions of 3 to 10 minutes are perfect to warm up copper and blonde. Leave on for longer to brighten copper and extend time between colours. Long lasting but doesn't stain hands, towels etc.

Yes yes yes!!! Exactly what I needed to refresh my red-auburn hair which started fading a few days after salon dye. This was my hair before and after. HIGHLY recommend.

My hair was damaged and over-bleached as I wanted to warm my face with highlights from my black hair.. I bought in cocoa and it saved my hair. Have a brown color hair with subtle highlights. The quality of my hair is amazing. Beautiful color as well. It doesn't cover grey. So I went to a salon to cover my roots and the stylist use a very dark color so now I want to do something to bring a lighter color to my roots. I wonder if I can use my nila color in my dark-tinted hair. Would the cicka color light up a black hair?

Ho comprato questo prodotto dopo aver visto il video dal blog di Clio, che seguo spesso. La confezione e' pratica, con un dosatore che si apre e si chiude per evitare di lasciare all'aria. Il prodotto ha una texture cremosa, ed oleosa al tatto, di ottima consistenza, non cola e si lascia stendere magnificamente senza problemi, il profumo e' delicato, discreto, allo stesso tempo per niente fastidioso come la tinta. E' necessario coprire con carta le superfici che vengono a diretto contatto con il prodotto perche' colora anche la ceramica. Sulle spalle basta indossare una mantellina o una vecchia asciugamano ormai scolorita. Dopo averlo steso non si scioglie , ne' cola con il calore della testa. Metto una pinza per raccogliere i capelli, avvolgo la testa con una busta di plastica pulita e biodegradabile, poi copro con un asciugamano e lascio in posa anche 1 h.. Troppo? Per me no. Dopo risciacquo abbondantemente e metto in piega i capelli come sempre. I capelli sono subito "rimpolpati", idratati e se pettinati sono morbidi ma non grassi, anzi, dopo questo trattamento aggiungo olio di semi di lino e asciugo. Il colore si nota benissimo dato che ho i capelli precedentemente decolorati e il colore e' visibile, i capelli restano morbidi dopo lo styling e lucidissimi anche con uso di piastra. Ho acquistato anche il bright red che amo per i riflessi rossi che lascia e che mi danno luce e grinta. Questo invece ha un colore caldo e solo di poco piu' chiaro del mio, ma da luce alla capigliatura e sottolinea il taglio. Lo consiglio a tutte!! Lo comprero' anche in altri colori. Amazon come sempre veloce, efficace, affidabile.. Perfetto!
