USB U8 U-8 Cable Lead Cord Replacement Compatible with Select Kodak Easyshare Digital Cameras (Compatible Models Listed in The Description Below)

I lost the data transfer cable when I moved and this works great!

After losing my Kodak U-8 USB cable, I needed to obtain another in order to keep using the irreplacable Z712, with its incredible lens. This is the third U-8 cable I purchased on amazon.com, after finding over and over on the Kodak site that they were no longer making the cable and I would have to procure one in the secondary market. The problem is that U-8 cables are PROPRIETARIAL, which means that Kodak owns the essential properties of this cable. Tiny variations have to exist in any other U-8 cable, or they are violating the law. Those tiny variations cause the cables to not transfer data, or not to fit in the port, damage the camera port, or to simply fall apart, which is what the three I have ordered from amazon did. Beware! For myself, I will keep looking until I find a U-8 with Kodak printed on the side.

In all the cords I have, I needed to download my pictures to my computer, I gave^up the search and justbought a new one. It was a life saver, If I could only get the response I need so bad, damn Facebook has locked me out. It feels like a Hack Job.

Good quality camera cable at the right price. Works as advertised and is priced really reasonably.
