I absolutely love, love, love this color. Berry Naughty is a deep, dark red that’s perfect for fall. It's bold, rich, and super flattering. I usually do two coats to get a nice thickness to the finish, and it goes on smooth without any streaks, which is a big deal for me. The brush makes it easy to apply, and it dries relatively quickly, about what you'd expect from a good polish. The smell is just your standard nail polish scent, nothing out of the ordinary. I didn’t use a base or top coat, and it still lasted about a week without chipping, which really impressed me. I also love that it’s 8-free and vegan. I’ve got several Essie shades and this one’s definitely one of my top picks. Great quality without the salon price.

red. use clear base coat and 2 coats of this. looks nice. last about as long as china glaze or opi although i really haven’t kept records. tiny brush polish was thick, no issues.

This color is a close match for Chanel Vernis “Rouge Noir” at $32.00 bottle. So my Essie version in “Berry Naughty” is a cheap thrill. I have thought of splurging on Chanel as a birthday present, but I really do not need to spend that much on a bottle of nail polish. Took this to my nail gal and she expertly applied with base, 2-coats, top coat and I do not have a chip 10 days into the manicure. It is very dark ~ borders on Goth but this shade is popular as a neutral for polish lovers today. Highly recommend. Not my first Essie product and will not be my last. For < $10 you can have a trendy color that suits YOU and still feel like you’re saving money. Enjoy!

This is a gorgeous fall vampire berry bloody red. It is a very true vampy red. Most nail polishes of this type look black on me, but this actually has the berry red quality. I think it is because it almost has a sheer jelly type of consistency. This is good in that it actually looks like the color the bottle is when I am wearing it, but not so good in that it takes about three coats to achieve the opacity I desire. I still think it is the most perfect bloody vampy red I have found to date (that doesn't look mostly black on me). I will keep this in stock always.

Gorgeous color and great polish. I have never bought this brand before, but I liked the color. The polish is thick and the color is well pigmented; one coat is all I need. It leaves an amazing shine. This could be my new favorite brand.

I love this colour, I discovered it years ago and it's always in my rotation. I find that 2 coats usually does the trick for an even colour. It does chip within days from doing regular house chores like dishes so I do think a top coat is necessary. The colour has a nice pink undertone that makes it a great colour for all the seasons in my opinion.

I’ve been using Essie nail polish for years and it’s never failed me. The bristles of the brush are thinner but the edges are round so it makes application really smooth and easy. I like Essie’s formula because it’s a bit thinner but doesn’t sacrifice opacity. While I CAN apply 2 coats for a really opaque finish, I’m really happy with just one coat. My polish usually lasts two weeks on my fingers when I use 1 coat of polish and top coat(longer on my toes without chipping). Berry Naughty is a really beautiful dark red that suits all seasons. The polish itself seems to last until the bottle is finished, without getting gummy or thick. Super happy with my purchase.
