I was very excited to receive this in the mail. It full of amazing information and is written in manner that makes it easier to read than some other "dry" texts. Maybe that is a bit biased, as I am very interested in the subject matter, but it is well-written and could easily be used as a teaching text in for home schooling, or just as a way to brush up on your history.

The book contains more information than I will ever need, but it was really helpful keeping the British monarchy in my head. A simpler, less scholarly, work would have probably been more effective for my needs.

Product (book) arrived in less than 4 days and was in mint condition. I am using the book for educating myself and as reference material.

Interesting book with loads of info. It jumps around a lot at the beginning but the early history is somewhat confusing.

This is a very thorough and informative work. It covers the history of the monarchy in a way that shows the changes in Britain as a whole.
