Any woman looking to get out of her makeup rut and shake up her routine will find this a goldmine of ideas. All the looks are classics, and can easily be adapted to suit personal preferences. Really old school, but full of good education. Happy to get my hands on this out of print jewel.

Way Bandy's style of creating a face through cosmetics is timeless. Not all techniques can be carried and used through the years, but you get a general idea of how to apply them to modern day faces. He is a legend and a master. I am just happy to own a book of Way Bandy's as I collect his books for my own enjoyment. Illustrations are not actual photographs but you get the idea when you see them. I feel this was well worth the price and a great addition to my collection.

This books presents many face designs that transport us to the magazing covers of the late 70's and early 80's. With simple techniques and your fingertips, Way Bandy explains how to achieve these makeups, and how to match them with clothing and even the kind of perfume you should use to get the final look. Though it is a must-read for inquisitive makeup artists, and a real fun book for makeup lovers, I recommend getting ¨designing your face¨ first, to fully understand the author's technique and his piece of mind on nutrition and bodycare.
