Estrus Squeeze Me Elk Cow Call

Sounds nothing like a cow estres in any way, shape or form. Perhaps I got a bad one, but this thing is not useful. In addition to not sounding like a cow elk, it gets stuck in the depressed mode and has to be pulled back to shape. No ability to vary the tone within a call to make it sound elky.

Carlton’s estrus call is the first non-diaphragm or reed call that gets it right. With a diaphragm in my mouth and this pinch call, I can mimic two calls. This combo has successfully brought in both bulls and cows.

Glad the product got here quick! However, this thing has a horrible sound. I’m an Elk call connoisseur but this thing is pretty bad. When I press the bulb, I get a half hearted Mallard Duck noise. I’ve tried every # of maneuvers and nothing works. Sorry, but will not buy another.

I purchased one of these cow calls. It did not work. They replaced it because I was within my 30 days. The replacement months later, never used, doesn’t work and it appears the rubber material is cheap and separated, causing a tear. Waste of money.

Call does not sound like an elk cow. Sounds more like a duck or some other type of waterfowl. Regardless how the call is manipulated it does not mimic an elk of any age or sex.

Did great. Called in other cow elk. And made a bull bugle.

Sounds nothing like an elk. Basically an over priced squeaky toy. If you take the dial part off you can almost get something remotely the right sound.

The item pictured is the first generation model (note bulb at end) but what I recvd is the second generation; one with volume dial on barrel. Both r good but really wanted 1st Gen mondel; oh well. One I got is still goodm

pitch is awful (to low) and rubber bulb broke within a day, not worth sending back, repurposed the reed for a duck call which seems to work ok

Doesn't sound like elk at all, or call them. Went hunting for elk, tried out this call, even adjusting to full extent, does not go high enough for elk, elk never even paused when they heard it, buy a more reputable one, seems like they looked at a picture of a hoochie and put the tip on the pump sideways not realizing there's more going on in there than a simple air pump, there's a mechanical device you depress partway through the stroke for the higher noise... poor product, do not buy.
