Does this work on a hagstrom designed tremolo similar to a bigsby b70?

It does work on a B70, or a B700. Only cases it doesn't work is when the tail is narrow, as on the Epiphone Wildkat.

this does NOT fit B5's - false advert?

It was close, but I could not get it to fit on my licensed B50 (Gretsch - pointy base) because the Bigsby frame was a little too narrow. It could also be the string posts are too long. Could not get the ears of the Spoiler past the frame and still get it over the posts as needed. Close, but no cigar. I will have to shorten posts or remove/replace them. Likely it will go back in the drawer and stay there.
