A must read and with extra explanations too

I recently purchased this bible for myself and I was looking particularly for a study bible. 1. It is colourful - very helpful when viewing maps. 2. I love the study notes. Very clear and readable. 3. The font is better than my previous bible. 4. Very good concordance. 5. My study colleagues want to purchase one. I will be purchasing a bible cover to preserve it from coming apart. It’s a great investment - you are getting a lot for the price!

I’ve been reading everyday, the study notes are not too overwhelming but provide an adequate amount of analysis. I love the maps and also cultural context. Overall it’s a great bible and I highly recommend it. Easy to read in terms of format and in terms of actual readability. Absolutely loving it. Highly recommend I would recommend purchasing some bible book tabs just to make it easier for yourself :)

I purchased this hardcover NKJV Study Bible as an Easter gift for my young adult son. I was pleased when it arrived to see how nice it is. This Bible is beautiful, packed with colour illustrations and maps, and filled with helpful information of all kinds. I particularly like the articles on different subjects which are sprinkled throughout the Bible. I am probably going to borrow my son's Bible just to read these. Note that the hardcover shown in the photo has a dustjacket. The actual cover of the book is plain, with a shiny maroon colour. There is gold lettering on the spine. I think it looks nice with the dustjacket on or off.

Good Bible but font size is a little too small for seniors

Diese Studienbibel ist absolut empfehlenswert. Die sehr genaue und dabei gut verständliche NKJV-Übersetzung sucht im Deutschen etwas Vergleichbares. Die Textgrundlage für das NT ist der Textus Receptus, wobei im NT häufig (immer?) auch die Lesarten des Mehrheitstextes und von Nestlé-Aland angegeben werden, wenn Abweichungen vorhanden sind. Die Anmerkungen sind sehr umfangreich und wurden von einem Autorenteam verfasst. Herausgeber war Earl Radmacher, der in der Free-Grace-Bewegung geistlich zuhause war und eine dispensationalistische Ausrichtung hatte. Mehr als 10 Jahre haben Radmacher und die anderen Autoren an dem Nelson's New Illustrated Bible Commentary gearbeitet, der deutlich abgespeckt die inhaltliche Grundlage für die Anmerkungen ist. Der ebenfalls auf Amazon erhältliche Kommentar ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Diese Ausgabe verfügt über viele vierfarbige Illustrationen und verwendet auch im Text zwei Zusatzfarben. Ich ganz persönlich benötige das nicht und bevorzuge deshalb die zweifarbige Ausgabe, die auch über Amazon bezogen werden kann. Meine Tochter ist dagegen davon begeistert.
