It's easy to use and it works!
I ordered this after my Bunionectomy. The sutures cannot get wet for the first few weeks. I'll also be wearing a boot shoe for 6 weeks. When I first received this product, I wouldn't have believed the small hole would actually stretch all the way over the bulky boot shoe, but it does! It tightens right back up around my ankle. I was paranoid it would leak thru the first couple times I showered, but it doesn't! It's a must have for anyone that has a boot or cast. No wrapping or taping. So easy to use! Do yourself a favor and take showering off the list of the many difficulties after a break or surgery.

Works great to keep foot dry!
I didn't want to spend money on this, bc I thought I could just use a plastic bag.....WRONG! Home remedy here doesn't work, bc no matter what, water runs down your leg from a shower and gets through even heavily-taped plastic. Do yourself a favor and get this easy-to-use device. I got my foot in no problem, and it kept my foot completely dry. Don't underestimate a proper shower!Also....used this in a pinch when I went out in the rain to watch my daughter's sporting event too. I even fit it on over my special post-surgery "shoe", so I could still walk around. Looked a little silly, but all dry!

Not exactly waterproof but works for the most part
I had high hopes this would be water proof for shower. Using this for over a week now, this isn’t waterproof as it states in description. I sit in my shower with my foot resting on heel out of main shower fall of water. After 10 minutes in shower, I exit and remove the shower boot. There is moisture on the inside on the sides of boot and on bottom. Not sure how water gets in other then maybe my leg hairs are allowing the water to come into waterproof boot. The water that comes in isn’t much but enough to get bandages wet. I would return item due to the false claim of being waterproof, but looking at other solutions this is far better than a plastic bag taped up with plastic wrap around plastic bag. This is easy to put on without any help, plus you don’t have to worry about removing any tape. To keep my bandages dry I wrap my ankle with a tube sock so moisture hits the sock first before getting to my bandages. Small price to pay in order to take a shower everyday so it’s worth the extra effort to keep my bandages dry.

Bye Bye Duct tape and Shopping Bags!!
I have been battling issues with one of my feet over the past couple years. Part of these issues require me to shower and NOT get my foot wet. My typical routine was to grab 3-4 grocery store bags, put my foot in them, wrap the top and tape the bags around my calf... Water inevitably leaked into the bags or the bags got so slippery I'd nearly kill myself just trying to get out of the shower... With this amazing invention I have been able to shower without my foot getting a single drop of water on it. I HIGHLY recommend this if you are in need of something to keep you from getting a foot wet while showering. The silicone ring around the top is tight without putting so much pressure on my calf that it hurts. It's very comfortable. My suggestion though is to pull this thing further up your calf than needed, then push it down an inch or two to keep water from pooling around the area where the silicone ring and your calf touch.

Moisture did get in. . .
I bought this for an upcoming foot surgery and I wanted to do a trial run with it this morning. The opening seemed to fit snugly around my ankle/leg. Midway through my shower, I could feel some moisture because my foot/skin was sticking to the plastic. When I finished showering and took it off, I noticed that my foot was not wet, but it was damp. I plan to try again tomorrow but will put on a cotton sock first - if any wetness does seep through, the sock will surely let me know.I will update this after that; if the product fails, I will return it

It really works
Just used it on my foot. I had surgery on my right foot and a minor procedure on my left foot. Only bought one cast not knowing I'd need one for my left foot. my husband bought me a similar product from CVS. The 1 from CVS we're returning. my foot was completely soaked. my right foot which was more important that I kept dry completely dry. Highly recommend and plan on buying another one.

Who doesn’t love being able to shower!
Double foot surgery so I purchased two of the ankle waterproof covers. They worked great. Not one bit of moisture on my bandages after showering. I did sit and keep my feet away from a steady stream of water. Inserting my feet through the top was easy. The rubber opening is soft and pliable but fit nicely. I have small thin legs and it did not pinch and was quite comfortable. I don’t have a cast or huge bandage but there seems to be plenty of room for an average cast and the rubber opening should stretch. I also walk carefully with a walker, but they don’t seem to be overly slippery. These have made recovery from foot surgery bearable as I am able to have a full shower rather sponge bath! Well worth trying them!

IT WORKS AND ITS EASY TO USE.
Highly recommend this product!! I had bunion/hammertoe surgery. When cast was removed, my foot was re-bandaged and I was fitted with a large bulky walking shoe. I could not walk or put any weight on my foot without the shoe and bandages could not get wet. Quite a dilemma when taking a shower. This product solved the problem. The small slit at the top stretches enough to slip over walking shoe. It’s easy to slip on before showering and easy to removed afterward and everything stayed very dry. I would definitely purchase again.
