This is such a handy light I don't know why Enegrizer appears to have discontinued it. It provides just enough light to determine where the keyhole is and what key I'm using when I walk up to my apartment door. Be warned that the adhesive tape provided won't last more than a month or two on any but the smoothest of surfaces like enamel painted metal. This may be because I live in a fairly humid area that gets very hot in the summer. My door frame is wood so I used the provided screws which although small provide a rock solid mount. The batteries are easy to replace, but depending on how high you mount it, you made need a step stool because your fingers need to comfortably reach above and to the center of the housing to unclip it off the mount. I get about 3 months of use with standard alkaline batteries. But, my apartment shares a breezeway with three other apartments and it also leads to a common area. All that foot traffic causes far more activations of the light than if my door was located off by itself. I suspect the average user will experience more lifetime out of the batteries. I have gotten quite a few inquiries and complements on this light for its small size, nice looking case, just the right amount of illumination, and effective sensitivity. I have even bought 3 more to give as gifts that were much appreciated. I'd highly recommend you grab one of these lights before all the remaining stock is gone. You may have to search quite a bit and probably have to buy them in a bundle of two or more.

I have 4 of these in different closets, all work great! Bright light, motion sensor is excellent. Only slight complaint is it eats batteries but that is only for the daily used closets (pantry, etc)

Good quality, excellent illumination. We have numerous pets wandering the house though and the lights trigger quite often. Make sure your using rechargeable batteries

I highly recommend this product. I have two from a retail store that I have had for 6 years now and they are still working properly. I just purchased this one recently and it's working great. They work great and all are outdoors with cover and are bright and durable.

Yes, it works like a charm and extremely helpful. Then the last one failed -- not just the batteries but the light itself failed. Bought the new one. Hope it lasts as when it works, it works well.

How do you open this to place the batteries inside? No instructions.

This was perfect for my deck. Works perfectly when doors are opened and I only need to change battery as needed.

These are great little lights, but my experience has been a little hit or miss. This particular one seems a little glitchy and either doesn't come on when I need it to, or randomly comes on. Still rating the overall item highly because I've purchased others of this exact light that work perfectly, I think this one was just a fluke. I've tried changing batteries and it's just a little funky. Unfortunately I waited to long and missed the return window. But still attempting to use this with mixed results. I would buy one of these again in the future, the other 2 that I've had have worked well (until being dropped and broken)

Very disappointed, low intensity light, the color of the light is markedly warm or yellow like the color of the flame of a wax candle. The picture on the web page is totally misleading showing a bright white light cast on top of a door. Flimsy battery compartment plastic door latch badly designed, hard to close, uncertain it is well closed, stay in place or that the batteries will pop out of the battery compartment. Photo included shows light color compared to ordinary cheaper similar device.
