not designed for normal dining so you are correct, they are a perfect fit on 6 foot folding tables use for display or exhibitions - suggest normal table cloths with clips if you are dining outside

Are these higher on one side to allow access under the table

Theses table covers are as exactly as the photos they scope on both sides are great for banquets Not for sitting around or dinner party

Will it fit any type of table that is 6ft?

We used it on a table that was 6ft by 2ft 3ins and it was fine. Don’t forget to place the table legs into the little pockets on the corners to hold it in position.
