I am by no means a coffee snob, although I did have some Folgers this weekend, the first time in at least a year, and did not enjoy it. This has a rich aroma in the bag, really uplifting. I just brewed two cups with my new Nessus stainless, K-cup in an original Keurig and the dark roast shined through. To me, it is very smooth and flavorful. I like to lighten my cup with a bit of milk and this dark roast took quite a bit to lighten.

This is my first time trying the Grizzly Claw dark roast. The flavor exceeded my expecations and the description was accurate- you can definitely taste the dark chocolate without it being sweet. It's also very smooth with a lower acidity. I have an older Keurig Duo and this grind worked perfectly in my machine. There were no brewing instructions on the bag so I had to wing the amount used. I used just about 12 tbs. for an 8 cup pot and it was perfect for me as I prefer it a little strong and bold. This will make an excellent dessert coffee and I can't wait to try it with cheesecake. It's also one that would be great for baking cakes/brownies or using in mixed hot and cold drinks. Can't wait to try this in the whole bean.

I looooooooooove Kicking Horse Coffee. I had a subscription at one time so I got a different pkg every couple weeks! It IS delicious. It IS enjoyable. However, the price skyrocketed in 2021, and I have a budget. I found something called breakfast blend at a grocery that rhymes with Galdi... and it's only 4 bucks. I'd pay the $9-10 that I once paid guilt free, but I just can't fork over the going rate today without wincing.

This my absolute favorite from Kicking Horse. The size is not that big. You might get 3-4 pots of coffee out of it. The taste is fresh and the caffeine is more than enough to get you going. The grounds are dark and strong. One of my favorites.

Kicking horse makes great coffee especially dark roast. This option was good and strong just not that excellent flavor I was looking for. But everyone's taste buds are different so give it a try. For the price you won't be disappointed

I usually drink Happy Camper coffee, but when I read the reviews that said, Grizzly had chocolate overtones, I thought I’d give it a try instead. Not so! To me, the Grizzly coffee tasted more like dirt then chocolate

This is great coffee from a very reliable and sustainable brand. It is a dark roast so it has a bolder flavor but isn't overwhelming and doesnt come off too strong. You get to enjoy the smooth flavors without it leaving a burnt aftertaste. Overall great coffee from a great brand, I will be repurchasing.
