This book is ideal for youngish readers 8 and over. It may or may not reveal quite a lot about the plot for the new TRON LEGACY film from Disney. Some primary and secondary readers may want to learn the plot for the upcoming film before seeing it by delving into this enjoyable, quick read. Details comparing our world to the strange electronic other world are intriguing (i.e. can humans attain 'normal' outsiders' food and drink in the Tron world; effects of a program's physical injuries i.e. bleeding; the potential of programs entering out world, etc). The ending (really no spoilers here) may frustrate some readers and leave them hanging, as some film novelizations tend to do these days in order to get readers into going to the cinema, but it is done with wit, in reference to a kind of 'shutdown'. Some illustrations are photos but many seem to be paintings of screenshots from the film. It's not nearly the printed tease as last year's AVATAR: THE NA'VI QUEST (which did not reveal anything of its final battle or ending) was. Upon finally watching TRON LEGACY recently, I found that this book omits quite a lot of details (including some revelations), so it won't spoil much for you if you haven't seen the film yet. Also, be aware of the fact that this book is available in another form called TRON BOOK OF THE FILM (I provided a tag to that other book), except that this book has color photos and the other one doesn't. Half the books missing. At the back of the book it gives you website to read the rest of the book. The website no longer exists so this book is worthless. Why would anyone make a book like this? I’d like my money back

I think it's a really good book. I like how Disney modified it a bit, because if you have watched the movie TRON LEGACY you don`t always know every single thing that's about to happen. It is VERY annoying that that they didn`t put the ending in but I would still recommend getting this book... just because there's no ending doesn`t mean it's the end of the world, its not really a trajedy if you miss out on the ending, just watch the movie. If you think about it, Disney put in a lot of work to make the movie and at least they made an effort to make a book.

I think the book is pretty cool but NO ENDING??? My god!! Come on Disney! Give us a FULL BOOK!!!

Read the reviews on Amazon about Tron Legacy book having no ending. Boy, did I find out the week I finished it! Plus, the pictures are horribly edited, they look printed off a computer. Disappointing junior novelization.
