Fantastic Lens with Fantastic Image Quality
$400 each for these lenses is an absolute steal! They are solid aluminum, with very high quality construction. Paired with Tilta Nucleus Nano, this is an amazing lens. I have also purchased the 12mm and 50mm lenses as well, and I plan to own all 6 once the 65mm is released.I have two minor complaints:- The other two lenses are labeled in decimal hundredths of an inch for distance, where as this lens uses inches.- Also this one does not offer a metric scale like the other two. Instead it has the imperial distance markers facing both directions so you can see them from either side.Bonus Info:- Minimum focus distance is 10in or 25cm.- Just a side note, in case you were making this consideration, the 12mm lens is not very good for use with a Glide Gear teleprompter. It can see the top as well as the front tablet bracket. The 25mm works fine without any problems.

Affordable and good quality, used on GH5S_ GH6
I've never had one of these manual lens and I love it. Well made, heavy and smooth focus adjustment setting. I'm an amature videographer and this puts out great quality on my cameras.

Amazing cinema lens for the price
OVERVIEWThe Meike 25mm T2.2 is a ruggedly built, true compact cinema lens. It’s the perfect match for narrative or documentary filmmakers shooting on M-43 cameras like the Panasonic GH5/s or the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Compare to the Veydra lenses that cost at least twice as much if you can even find them.PROS:IMAGE:- Very, very sharp- Little to no color cast, great contrast- Smooth, circular bokeh- Little to no focus breathing- Focus marks accurate, as close as 10”- Very little flaring or bloomingBUILD:- All metal- .8 pitch gears- Nice smooth focus and aperture control- Very long (200º) focus throw, perfect for accurately pulling focus- Focus distance and aperture marks on both sides of lensCONS:- Stronger than average chromatic aberrations (purple fringing)WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:- Inscribed markings- Fluorescent markings- More focal lengths to make a full kit (50mm, 85mm, etc.)

Prices are increasing.
These are excellent lenses and good value for money, at the moment. However, the price is rapidly increasing on these, so if your going to buy one, better do it soon. I purchased the 25mm and the 16mm last week they were selling for $330-$349. I see they are now $399.

Good lens, with decent build quality. Watch out for manufacturing defects.
The media could not be loaded. This lens is wonderfully sharp and has a beautiful metal construction. I like the cine-style geared rings for my follow focus system. Compared to the 16mm for some reason this 25mm has poor build quality issues. I've gone through 2 copies of this lens and both had some sort of manufacturing defects. The first copy had small bubbles under the lens elements that could not be cleared without disassembly and the other had a loose part rattling inside (see video).Overall it may take a few tries to get a decent copy free of defects, but once you do find one, it should be a fine lens for the price.

Quality Build and Image For The Budget Conscious Videographer
The Meike Cine lenses are probably exact optical copies of the now defunct Veydra Micro Cinema Lenses for M4/3 camera mounts. The background of Veydra's demise is unclear (More information on the history of Veydra products can be found in YouTube videos). Considering that the original Veydra lenses sold for $ 1,000.00 - the pricing for the Meike equivalent is an amazing bargain for budget conscious videographers. The 25mm T2.2 is one of 6 Veydra designs. One hopes that all 6 Veydra cine lenses will eventually be available via Meike. Highly Recommended !

An Excellent Lens for an Excellent Price
This lens is fantastic. If you have ever used the Veydra 25mm t2.2, than you'll be right at home with this little guy. It's quite sharp when wide open, and gets even sharper if you stop down a bit. The color rendition is good and the contrast is fairly flat. It'll produce a very nice, smooth looking image. The bokeh is quite pleasing, and isn't overly smeary. The lens does have a bit of chromatic abberation when used in very high contrast situations, but that is easily dealt with in post, and isn't overly apparent. The focus rotation is 300 degrees which feels a little big for single person operation. I would have preferred something closer to 200 for solo/handheld, but if you're operating with a follow focus, or with a focus puller, you'll be just fine. The gears are nice and smooth though, and are completely silent during operation. The iris ring on my model is a fair bit looser than the focus ring, so it's easy to accidentally stop down the iris, but that might just be a problem with my particular unit. Overall, I'm very pleased with this lens, and for the price, there's not much that compares. It beats the rokinons by a mile.Pros-SharpnessColor Rendition and ContrastBuild QualityPriceCons-Chromatic AbberationFocus Throw is a little long (300 degrees)

High Quality Lens
I own plenty of lenses for my 1DX Mark II, but when buying the BMPCC4K - I didn't want to buy a Metabones Ultra and just adapt all of my photo lenses to my new camera. My primary motivation for not switching to "cine style" lenses was the DPAF that Canon offers, but with the BMPCC4K I felt like full manual control was what I was after. After seeing the lens perform on a couple blogs, I decided that the cost was more than fair considering the IQ coming out of it. When receiving it, I was amazed at the build quality and robustness - truly making the BMPCC4K plastic feel cheap in comparison to the all metal lens. Almost no focus breathing, really high quality optics, and the long focus throw make this lens really a great option for people diving into the M4/3 realm for the first time. Very happy with my purchase.
