The Armor of Amaterasu Ohkami

I want to preface this review with a little bit of background. I have had the good fortune to visit several Shinto Shrines. I have experienced traditional Shinto ceremonies, and I have had the opportunity to pray traditional Shinto prayers on many occasions. I was already familiar with Shinto and the energies of the Kami before I began to work with Warlock Asylum. I will state it plainly and bluntly: I have experienced the Kami more powerfully and fully by walking this Path than I ever could have by merely attending a Shrine. This book can open the door to the Shinto of the Heart. The Armor of Amaterasu Ohkami succeeds in bringing the Kami to the world on one hand, but to put it in another way: it will succeed to bring a select few to the Kami. This is an ancient way that has been recovered for these trying times, it is a revival of the true Spirit of Shinto before the advent of the political and racist ideologies that attempted to irreparably corrupt humanity's spiritual heritage. It is a revelation for anyone searching for a spiritual path that is pure and open to anyone of any background. It is nourishment for the seeker that is weary of the dead ends that are so common among Western Esoteric and Occult circles. This work is one part of a Path of Liberation, and a serious masterpiece of the Fourth Way. Spiritual purity is something that has been strangely absent from the Pagan and Occult scene, but it is vital for anyone that is serious about the Work. This Work will change you if you are willing, and you will never experience life the same way again. Someone wishing to work with the Armor needs to first complete the initiation of the Ivory Tablets so that they will be properly prepared to put on the Armor. I'm not saying this to sound elitist, but the initiate needs to understand that these Energies are ancient and very powerful. This is not a book for the dabbler, the dilettante, or the eclectic occultist looking for another feather for their cap of misunderstood and bastardized things. Joining the Shrine of Ninzuwu is strongly recommended for anyone wishing to pursue this Path. The Shrine can provide support to keep the initiate from falling asleep. The aid and encouragement available from the Shrine is immensely practical and personal. If you choose to join the Shrine of Ninzuwu you will be embraced like Family, and NOT as a source of disposable income for some self proclaimed guru. Should you buy this book? Absolutely! This is definitely isn’t for beginners however it’s still informative and a good book to reference too. It’s not a crazy long book either thankfully.

The author takes multiple authentic sources then mixes in a number of elements which are dubious at best. The Necronomicon was clearly a fictional work in the horror genre, the author H. P. Lovecraft admits this. Mudras are used by many Eastern spiritual paths but these mudras are not common. The idea of having to pray to a Kami six times means you are asking to become subjugated to that Kami, to in a sense, become not just their student, but their property. No benevolent spirit REQUIRES you to submit to them. Spirit possession is always an uneven deal.You should get the hint about the forces behind the author from volume one (Ivory Tablets) which says "This path is crooked". There is no force in nature that can be a part of light and be zig zag but lightning itself. And this lightning is not a phenomena of 'static electricity' but the opening of a dimensional portal and the crossing of spirit beings from this dimension to/from others. The great energy and being of their manifestation being barely seen before disappearing "in a flash".The "Land of Shadows" is a place where beings are so enamoured by their own existence, in some cases 'beauty' that they are hypnotized by their own form which is the shadow. This is the description of a lower dimensional plane where beings are fooled into thinking they can obtain 'power'. Beings who are in true harmony with the light allow themselves to take on a transparent nature and form the sacred circuit (the infiniti symbol). Descriptions of pure spiritual domains never stress shadows. The New Jerusalem with its description of transparent gemstones of various levels is a description of a proper and pure spiritual domain of peace, not of 'power'. 'Yuvho' is a strong resonance to Jehovah which is a suspect character from the Biblical Old Testament.Regarding the intermediate work 'Ninzuwu '. Yuki-onna (Snow Woman) is often depicted as vampiric. Are you getting the vibe here yet? Every sound, vowel is an evocation of one of the fundamental/elemental energies (Earth->Water->Fire-Air-Ether). Every consonant is a direction of that energy through time and other transformations. When you string vowels and consonants into mantras and then words, you are pushing buttons on an energetic/subtle energy keyboard. Most mantras/chants will evoke energies within and around the body/field. Many mantras will call upon/summon spiritual beings. Do you really want to use any mantra without fully understanding its meaning and verify that meaning with multiple sources?Is anyone but 'Messiah' el-Bey teaching this stuff? Wouldn't you think that an ancient tradition which is so helpful to mankind would have more than one person who is the expert of it? Can you go to ANYONE in Japan ask them whether this is authentic? You can go there an I'm 100% no one will verify this in it's entirety. My point is that very few sacred paths are carried by a single person as the authority. All great works for the East are preserved by lineages, teacher to student, over centuries. This is what constitutes a genuine lineage/spiritual path. Who was MEBs teacher, and who was their teacher? Without such a lineage tree you have nothing but his word. In short, this is a hobbling together of some authentic sources with much imagination. No Shinto priest can or will verify this. There are Shinto priests also in the US. It's not hard to find them. The evidence says there is absolutely no lineage behind this. Meaning, without it this is not a genuine lineage.I've watched the authors videos on youtube. I am sure he is sincere about what he thinks he is doing. However, I do find his fascination with rap/hip-hop music to be at least incongruent with higher spiritual development. The author also uses sources in his training from Haitian Voodoo and was associated with World Mate whos founder Toshu Fukami, is surrounded by a lot of controversy and legal troubles.Be very aware that a 'warlock' is a male witch who is in the game for POWER. A warlock is not on a path of self-mastery because true mastery and true power is power over oneself, over ones ego, and involved telling the truth and not spreading falsehood. Spiritual mastery is also about self-sacrifice, not trying to gain abilities. There is repetitive mention of shadows and darkness in these works. There are too many obvious warning signs here that if ignored you are complicit in your own karmic debts/mis-aiming.At some point in the spiritual path you have to decide if you are serious about purification and purpose. Shinto priests are very clear that all disease is caused by evil spirits. Many of these spirits will glady exchange seemingly 'high' knowledge/abilities in order to overshadow the body of the aspirant and feed on the bio-spiritual energy. Most people are food for dark spirits at least from time to time. If you drink alcohol frequently then you are frequently on the menu.If you want to study Shinto then read the source material yourself. Kojiki (Phillipi translation preferred over Chamberlain) and the Nihongi (Japan Society of London 1896) are readily accessible. I would also get into Avery Morrow via The Sacred Scient of Ancient Japan. You will get a much purer transmission that has leads going in many more relevant and authentic directions.If you are looking for an Eastern/Japanese spiritual tradition of purity and no required allegiance to intermediate spiritual beings then you should study Reiki. This work was so inspirational. I found this book to be so informative. For awhile now I have been seeking out information on Amaterasu that I would so easily comprehend and embrace. The best choice that I could have made was picking this book.

What one should know upon embarking on this journey is that you will be learning a true technology of healing. This is an invaluable text for the modern day shaman and a vital initiatory rite into the Art of Ninzuwu. It promotes, quite naturally, a level of purity and energetic strength within the practitioner. I have been amazed at the profound experiences of remote healings accomplished through the Armor of Amaterasu and of the transformational energies imbibed within through its practise. Memorisation and integration of the Armor into ones life will leave you forever changed, for the better.

This book is definitely not for the novice. I found it to be a great resource and aid in helping me to understand the Art of Ninzuwu paradigm.Different than the author's previous works, it seem to be a workbook and the the contents are indeed profound, but presented in a simple format.I don't think I will work with it now. maybe in the future though.
